I wasn’t spreading incorrect historical information. Just do a google search. It’s the truth. Just because they didn’t overlap does not mean they can’t be influenced by the Tang dynasty. It came before the Goryeo dynasty, and visually it’s obvious how similar it was.

Most historical Kdramas take place during the Joseon dynasty, but Moon Lovers takes place in the Goryeo dynasty which is MUCH earlier. The Goryeo dynasty was heavily influenced by China’s Tang dynasty fashion. Later Joseon became traditional Korean clothing because it was not influenced as much by China’s other fashions, and was more authentically Korean

Has it really been confirmed? Because Joon Gi’s agency Namoo Actors hasn’t announced anything and he hasn’t posted anything on Instagram, which is odd.

Sorry but no. I will not be watching this drama, nor do I support the idea of recasting characters. Also, there are many fans out there who love a drama and it’s story but that doesn’t mean they have to accept certain changes later. They can still be considered fans who preferred it the way it was. I don’t believe in giving unfair hate to people, but I’m still allowed to have an opinion.

Does anyone know if this drama will have romance? I’ll watch it either way, but I always hope that Joon Gi’s projects will have a romance - even if it’s only a side plot like with Lawless Lawyer.

Do you think a season 2 is still possible after almost 6 years? There’s still no word on whether or not they’ll ever make a season 2 since the ratings were so low when it first came out. Usually it’s within 2 years for a season 2 to happen, but since it’s been so long a lot of people think a season 2 isn’t possible now. :(
