Definitely whoever did the casting was awesome! However the adaptation was a lackluster. They made the FL character questionable due to her constant lies and the misunderstandings dragged on too long and the overused phone interruptions. I only started watching this for WeiZheMing part of the show. Like most viewers, it’s annoying to watch a FL who’s excel in her field of work but clueless when dealing with interpersonal relationships or communications? This is no fault to BaiLu. I’m only speaking the way how the FL is written. For example how she guilt tripped the ML in staying to eat hotpot despite hearing that the niece called her uncle for help due to a bad encounter. All because the fake niece stole her ex. Like for real, that’s low on the FL part. What a waste of talents casted for this show! Let’s not forget how they have all the men in this show fall for the FL except GJ the player and his dad.

NGL, for today’s released episodes I only watched the OTP scenes and semi forwarded the 3rd couple (DDE’s bff and her coworker) b/c their story is boring/meh. The 2nd couple is a ok watch. Yeah cold meds often time contains Tylenol, Benadryl, and a cough suppressant which can be sedating. However, if a person who is sick with flu like symptoms making them already weak and malaise plus cold meds may knock them out. The show was a bit over the top with that scene 😏
