I don't know why there are so many negative comments now, when the series was still on going there were a lot…
Yeah, they definitely did a good job keeping us guessing. I had a feeling Shin Woo would be endgame, yet I kept coming back here to look for spoilers. (whoops)
That's exactly what I think too, and at the beginning he said "I'm lucky that my first love is 1 of the people here" or something like that. But he never outwardly said which one of them it was. So I guess it could be up to the viewer to decide who is actually his first love. But I think Da-On helped TaeKyung open his heart to things he probably never thought about before, and then when he kind of "opened" his eyes and saw Shin Woo, he realized that what he had with Da-On wasn't love.
Because he "opened" his eyes when he got his phone fixed, and realized that even tho Shin Woo didn't receive a single reply from him, he kept messaging. Even when Shin Woo was being "cold" towards TaeKyung, he kept messaging.

Yeah, there was definitely a quick switch in the comments here. But some of the comments are just talking sht, like yes people have their own opinions but a lot of the negative comments I see just don't make sense and I'm just like "Eh, did we see the same show?"
I also think this is my favourite KBL, and probably even BL in general. I don't enjoy rewatching stuff, but I've been wanting to rewatch this one. Even tho I just finished it 4 days ago.
When it comes to love triangles, I don't know if I just end up always watching dramas with bad love triangles. But this was definitely not it. I get that it being a show, people might want it to be kind of unrealistic. However, this felt very "real-life"esque and natural.
Mhm, I can see your point about being an awkward introvert. I'm an autistic introvert, and I struggle making friends etc. However, when I was traveling in Korea I was like a completely different person. I felt like I didn't even know myself at some points haha, so I think it really depends on the people you meet? And how you feel around them? Am I comfortable with you, you will know it haha.
That's what I said! I was actually hoping that was what they were going for with him. It would make so much sense…
Yeah, that's exactly how I feel too! We also have the kdrama Move To Heaven that has an autistic character, there might be more as well. But it's really nice to see more representation. Even then, there are a lot of autistic people that have this one/multiple characters they just know are autistic, even if it isn't canon. So I guess TaeKyung will be that for me.
I'm really glad they portrayed it this way because it's so "normal" to portray someone autistic as this weird, strange, and closed-off person. When it's usually not like that. So seeing them kind of just embracing who he is, is very heartwarming.

For me it didn't really feel like a love triangle, like how the cliche ones are. For me, I don't really think TaeKyung was ever in love with Daon. He was in love with the concept of Daon. He was the first person TaeKyung really befriended, he was really kind to him and "always" there. And I'm the same, I'm in love with the concept of people, you're kind to me? Then I'm most of the time automatically in love.
But when TaeKyung realized and finally "saw" ShinWoo, he realized what having a crush/being in love actually is like.

Yeah, I can definitely see a change in comments after a certain point. I only started watching a couple of days ago, but I really don't know why so many people have so many things to complain about. It's really not bad. Probably one of my favorites. I guess people are just used to fast-paced bls. People also didn't like the concept of a love triangle, but I honestly love the way they portrayed all the characters in the triangle and it doesn't feel forced. (Will add an extra comment on this, bit with a spoiler down below 👇)
Yeah, I can definitely see it being very introvert behavior too. As an autistic introvert, I definitely know how he feels. I guess the reason I'm stuck on him possibly being on the spectrum is that even after becoming close with the others he still has those qualities.
I think you're on to something. I also thought he may be autistic after the first few episodes, or just extremely…
I just recently got it confirmed I'm autistic, and after that I seem to be more in tune with characters that are possibly autistic. So, yeah I definitely see there being a chance of it. Or very extremely introvert. But with the way he doesn't really hold back, and always says what's on his mind I think it's possible. As well as people saying he feels really "robotic", it's literally things nt says about nd/autistic people
I really don't understand why there are so many negative comments on this drama, it's so amazing. I honestly don't see bad acting in this, people are making it seems like it's the worst thing ever. Which it isn't. I really liked the pacing of the drama, and I didn't mind that there were some fewer scenes between a couple. Because for me, those scenes we did get gave me a lot for their relationship.
Also, it could just be me projecting but I feel like TaeKyung could be autistic?
I really liked this drama, finished it so quickly and now have no idea what to do. I really hope we can get a season 2, or at least a few special episodes or a movie. It also has to be with these actors, they all have a special place in my heart. I really need to see them at the world championship.
I think this is one of my favourite dramas (keep in mind everyone has different opinions. I like that the female lead doesn't just back down, and isn't scared of joking with her teammates. In a lot of dramas I've watched the female lead will back down too easily or isn't able to make her own choices. So this was a refreshing watch.
Started off really strong and then at some point it was just "okay". I really liked the beginning because of how…
I don't think I would agree with them just throwing in Alzheimer's just from the drama! For me they gave hints about it already in episode 1. It might be because I've worked with people who have dementia, which makes it easier for me to see the signs. But it defiantly wasn't something they decided to suddenly add in mid series.
It's been a while since I was this hooked on a drama, I've had a tough time finding dramas I like. So far I absolutely love the first 6 episodes and hope it continues. Kind of sad I started watching while it was airing than being able to watch it in one go.
I know I'm late to the party because I just started this drama, but I'm not really getting it.Who works with out…
I was in China for a while, some of the people I met worked in a kindergarten. They hadn't gotten paid for 4+ months, but they still worked everyday +....
I think maybe even by next episode the parents will accept them, at least that's what 'i hope.
I don't know a parents acceptance work since I've never been through it. But based on the mom already kind of opening her mind when Hao Ting and his sister was talking, and how she acted when Xi Gu came. As well as the parents conversation at the end of the episode when the mom says, "He listens to him" you could see they were both thinking about it.
