Honestly, I really went into this with kind of low expectations. My thoughts before watching, “someone’s going to die... it’s made in 2006 so it definitely won’t have a good or happy ending for the gay couple” ... ahhhh! I regret no watching this sooner! The screenwriter should have been given an award, it is masterfully done! I find so often BLs are viewed as taboo and are doomed to have the couple stay apart but although it’s not all rainbows, I thought for a 2006 production that this was very progressive! I enjoyed the acting and the story. It almost felt like it took a page from a Japanese production with the weird twist near the end, ML definitely wasn’t in his right mindset. But overall I’d like to think that the ending was both a forgiving and happy ending for the main couple. Definitely recommend you watch it!! :)

This was great, I actually went and watched the first two you recommended and both were phenomenal movies. If you find any other hidden gems you should definitely make another list for us, thanks ? now off to watch the rest ahah

Please tell me I’m not the only one that went through a roller coaster of emotions this past episode. This series is on a different level! The direction they took and the way they are portraying what I feel like is an authentic portrayal of emotions that someone experiences... well it’s just phenomenal. I’m honestly so excited and then sad that next week is the last episode. This has taken BLs to a whole new level. I mean the depth of the characters emotional journey in the story is just profound. I seriously thought I was not gonna enjoy this drama and I was gonna drop it and now it is the one drama that I cannot wait to watch every week. I feel like it has the most realism that’s I’ve seen of what somebody would potentially experience going through something like this, it’s amazing I have nothing but good things to say about the show.

To answer you simply would take away from the show. I waited to watch this for a similar reason, you go through lots of emotions, and yes I cried at times. It’s a bit bitter sweet. Overall I’d definitely recommend you watch this show. I got so invested in it I binged watched it over the weekend. The acting is great. Also, I really liked the music.

*spoiler* (not really) ....Does it have a happy ending? Depends on how you view it. I’d like to think it does.....Do some people die? Yes. They tried to base it *loosely* on figures in history. But of course, with a creative license. It’s a melodrama. I definitely don’t regret watching and I would even go so far as to say I’ll be re-watching it again in the future. So if you want to go on a roller coaster of emotions, this is for you! :) hope that helps

Is it weird that I really truly want her to end up with the second male lead? Like he is the one from childhood. Ugh I just don’t like how it’s always love triangles and we always know who she is gonna be with. Makes me wish she falls in love with the HJP

Sooo many plot holes! You said it all soooo well!! I’m so disappointed with how the writer chose to end this. I’m so confused by the ending. For me all those questions you have, I had them too. It makes absolutely no sense to me that the writer finished the series this way... I was watching and literally yelled “like wait what? That’s IT?! That’s how it ends?!” It could have been so much better and it did have so much potential and then just lost it all.

I’m sooo glad I’m not the only one confused by ep.16 XD soo many question I have still unanswered.

I couldn’t agree with you more! 100%!! I was pleasantly surprised how much I came to like him and his growth and I’m excited where they are going to take his character.

This started off so phenomenally. As far as first episodes go this is really strong. I’m so excited to see where it’s going to take us, fast paced. Love it.

It was a bit of drama I think, I scroll down earlier just to briefly get the jest of it and I think there was just some rude comment and it went from there. I’m sure whoever they are have left this space and it’s now back to being a nice environment :)
