They need to stop letting her write.. All her dramas have such good actors. But no one can save these cliche filled stories with no substance. She has good ideas. So it starts out well. But then nothing. Just mind numbing filler episodes.
The scriptwriter strikes again. You have such great actors and this is the script you give them? Something about this drama makes me feel like it is so dated. K-drama story telling has progressed so much in my opinion. This script belongs in like 2015.
"to an actor, a spoon is just a utensil" so im a half-idiot here asking here what was that line supposed to mean,…
The "spoon" system refers to the idea that people can be classified into different socioeconomic classes based on the income level of their parents, and as a consequence, one's success in life depends entirely on being born into a wealthy family. So basically depending on how rich your family is you can be - Golden Spoon, Silver spoon, bronze spoon and dirt spoon. With dirt spoon saying your family is dirt poor.
In that bogum monologue he says that he rejects this hierarchy system bcoz it only takes into the account the monetary support provided by your family and disregards the emotional/psychological support and the values he gained from his family. All of which makes him a better person and actor.
So in him saying that line, he is basically once again rejecting the social hierarchy imposed on him and saying that for him to be an actor he does not need money, he just needs himself and his skills. In his life the only meaning/place a "spoon" holds is as a kitchen utensil.
TLDR: Screw society. My skills will get me to my dreams.
Ah... like pretty much every survival show the ending feeling was so bittersweet. I'm so happy for the members…
I think the order was messed up because people assumed people like sunoo and heesung would get in no matter what. That others would vote for them. So they voted for the person they wanted to save.
I have only reached ep 10 and haven't been able to stop crying. What is this beautiful mix of all the emotions this show is making me feel. Someone save me.
Can someone who has finished this let me know if it has a closed happy ending? I know there is a season 2 coming out. I don't like to watch things which won't leave me with atleast some sort of closure.
I have no words for how good this show is. Every aspect of this was so spot on. I need to re-watch this 50 more times immediately. 73 episodes and I still need more. I don't want to leave these characters.
Does anyone know where I can read a translated version of this novel?
I think the premise of this show is really interesting and I do enjoy watching it. The survivor/big brother like concept is always fun to watch for me. The only thing is that at the end of this show, these guys who we see will have to debut as a group. When they spend all this time strategizing against each other and talking behind their backs, how can these boys after this show magically all come to have good chemistry? The skills are overall very lacking. If you compare these trainees with those on YG treasure box for example, it's nowhere close. Except for maybe one or two, their singing is sub-par.
I think this show will be successful. But I don't know how successful the group it produces will be. A 12 membered group is not a great idea, especially if majority of them are average skill level.
Sadly I have to agree. I believe this was one of the best dramas in general. I liked 2gether, but it's definitely…
I feel you. It's great that you didn't. You have missed nothing. I literally wanted to punch someone because of how frustrated I was at the end.
I still do not understand what I am not getting that so many people like it. The chemistry was so non-existent that even calling it a bromance would be too much.
I have a question.. what with the last ep scene where woljoo tricks two people into thinking their family were…
I knoww. Was it a random flashback? It just felt like them saying "we have this scene shot. Let's just throw it in somewhere just so it won't bhi to waste". It made no sense to put it in
Would have been a 10 if not for the last episode. I am left with so many of the same questions that others seem to have.
The most frustrating was they started the episode with badass kangbae. Then never did it again.
When yeorin drank the alcohol, cinnabar came out. I thought when kangbae was made to drink, the tree would come out and then all three of them together would kick ass.
Yet another kdrama who dropped the ball on the ending.

I'll have to find something else to watch next. :)
