Its true to life in someways. I am gay and my boyfriend is there. I travel there a lot. Its a very catholic country. How ever my boy friends family fully excepted me. Maybe I am just lucky because I have never experienced homophobia there and found them to he a polite and accepting country.
How ever .... The pressure on Rocky to earn money for his family I have found very true in their society. It is engrained in them that they should be supporting the family and what makes matter worse is that they are a Catholic country meaning they are against birth control.
So if your a guy and you have a lot of sisters .... Well you as a brother could be overwhelmed feeding babies that are not even yours! My experience fathers tend ro disappear over there and the brothers are working to feed their parents as well as their sisters and their children!

I am starting to think what they needed to do here is instead of having every single person in the show in love with the same guy that maybe they should of had a side couple. Something to balance the sad story.
So I felt the story line progressed just a little today BUT the acting is just so flat and onesided in this series. Like only 1 range of emotion is all we are getting. I now think the back ground music is putting me to sleep. I still think this series has potential because the story line is interesting. So now that Wil and Joey are a couple can we send them to an amusement park or something to have fun ? I need to see someone in this series smile and not be so depressing. Put them on a roller coaster somewhere make them scream and laugh!!! We need a different range of emotion from someone dang it LOL!
This is definitely my second favorite Philippines BL so far ( and I am watching them all ). Of course Game Boys just hit it out if the park BUT there is something raw and emotional about the actors in this that is betraying a truth that Game Boys didnt even catch. Its believable and the actors are doing and amazing job!
So yea the Philippines definitely turning up the heat LOL ..... First Quanteen Things now episode 8 in this! Both were some heated love scenes that very few thai BL take it that far. I need a cold shower after watching both today lol!

The Thai series 3 Will Be Free attempts to go down the polyamorous relationship road a little. 2 guys and a girl! Not a typical BL but kept me very interested. More action adventure !!
So lol .... I actually forced myself today to go back and finish this BL. Unfortunately my opinion didn't change. This is the most boring and bland BL I have ever watched. It is like the entire thing was done in some weird monotone. My boy friend who is filippino never understood my fascination with BLs got excited about this one because it had Tony Labrusca in it. Apparently he is a heartthrob lol! I was excited because finally he wanted to watch a BL lol. Three episodes in he said I cant watch this anymore its really boring lol. I had to beg him to try Game Boys ( hello strangers almost ruined it lol ) and by the end of Game Boys he was like I am proud of my country this is so good. There is no way this deserves a 8.6 maybe a 6. Even all the other mediocre BLs coming out of the Philippines have more interesting plots then this.
