I have a theory that the reason why Hua Ru Yue wants revenge on Bai Jiu Si is because, when he took away her divine powers in the mortal realm she was actually pregnant. Because she had no divine powers she was unable to nourish the child, so the child didn't survive. So she blames Jiu Si for causing the child's death. When Jiu Si spoke to that other immortal about having children, that immortal said that she wouldn't reccomend it, since the child would have to be nourished by divine power.
