I too have a lot of dislike about the plots and characters especially ml and fl but I get to understand reasons why it's so, that is the first thing I did. And there are lessons to be learned too apart from focusing on the ml and fl... I just don't understand why people will go all out to give 1 ? to someone's hard work, even if you don't like the cast or project, don't watch, ignore but this set of people.... Very shameless

No, that is because antis and rival fans are fond of downrating their idol's rival's works on douban.... Anime and book fans who understand how TV projects work in China are more open minded.... Those claiming to be anime or book fans downrating and giving bad reviews are antis especially those with new accounts.... And they always target all Xiao Zhan works....
