While I do find the mix of this cast to be interesting (not in a good way) I think that the casting is less of…
I can't agree more. Even the webtoon is lacking compared to the webnovel, and it has a lot of chapters. This is really hopeless
On Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy Aug 18, 2024
Honestly, I don't think it will work. Orv's strength is in the detailed characters and world building, which would likely be lacking in movies because of the lack of time. Even the webtoon missed many details. And the casts are.... not the ones I usually like. But who knows, it might be okayish? Gotta look for reviews first later.

I understand but don't understand at the same time. Maybe that's how slow the world looks like for drug addicts, and I think that the whole vibe kinda shows how apathetic/numb they are. Idk, because the most potent "drug" I had was paracetamol to treat my fever, and I never went through so much abuse as well. And maybe this kind of mafia is more common than the smart-ass one movies love to portray? Because they would have been drug addicts first before joining a part in such an organization, and some drug addicts I accidentally see aren't the sharpest people. I know that they had problems with stolen drugs at the beginning of the movie, the torture, etc. And for Gun's "bad acting", it might be intentional. Drugs might alter your perception, and Gun thought he was spitting coolly and fiercely all the time despite looking like he was half asleep while spitting expired milk he accidentally drank.

I was abt to watch this but WOW THOSE R SOME LONG ASS EPISODES 😭😭
Watch one episode a day (max), you'll be okay. It takes me 2-3 days for every episode because I need to do many things, hobbies, and of course sleep. It's not a problem.

Note - King The Land & My Demon 2 biggest hits after new ranking system with 446M hours and 331M hours respectively,…
I lost hope in kdrama when My Demon was the biggest hit because it's mediocre, lol. Glad that they produce QoT 😌

I love Crash Landing on You, so when I found out this was the same writer I immediately started watching. LOVE…
I haven't watched that far, but if it's going to be that kind of story, I'd love it so much. I'm bored of dumber-than-MC-villains. It will be refreshing to have both smart MC and villain where the villain wins most of the time, until the MC get their first win. It's thrilling to see MC's struggle, and villain's fall like that, because it's satisfying to see villain lose when they think they'll win again 🌚

From the look of teaser it looks like it’s going to be a roller coaster,Romance,Comedy,Emotional,Action Drama
I wouldn't mind, as long as it's good. Based on KSH' previous projects, it's unlikely for him to pick a half assed story
On Queen of Tears Mar 29, 2024
It's been ages since my last kdrama (literally). But KSH is the main lead, and he always pick the best stories. So I decided to watch. Broo, just watch it I'm watching the 3rd episode and I can't stop laughing since the first episode. This is the kind of comedy and romance I like.

I agree with you! And the name he said was "Su Jin".
I watched a Thai series before, one of the main characters were a ghost and the reaper let him stay until his lover dies. They went together in the end.

Well, another possibility is that he simply doesn't want Yun Oh to be too attached to Peach so he can go without any problem. In another Thai series I watch, ghosts can't go when they have unfinished business (including love). Or both. Korean series are predictable, usually. And despite having more than 2 possibilities in the middle of the story, I'm sure Yun Oh will handle his problem and go... But then the reaper decide to let him stay with Peach until he is dead (without the risk of turning into an evil being).

What in the "I can see dead people" The Sixth Sense is this??!!!
It's not something rare in Thailand, I guess. I didn't expect South Korea use that setting, though. But it's possible with 2 Thailand actors in the series.

Title Peach of Time Spoiler
I bet Mario is Yun Oh's father. He is from Thailand. Yun Oh's mom (Moon Sung), despite being Korean, teach Thai to Yun Oh. So I suspect that Yun Oh's father is from Thailand. Plus Mario has been a ghost for 20+ years. I feel like he wants Yun Oh to stay while waiting for Moon Sung's death. So there would be an opportunity for the three of them to be together.... as ghosts. Don't forget that Mario said Yun Oh might become an evil ghost if he doesn't solve his sadness in 49 days. So it's possible that Mario's real sadness is caused by his inability to stay by Moon Sung's side. And so his evil form decided to purposely keep Yun Oh in human's world while waiting for Moon sung's death. In know that Mario told Peach about another name (was is Suk Ja?) but it can be Mario's mom.

I think it has a plot. I watched it once, a few months ago and saw a story. And I don't think it's pleasing enough to be smut.

Just wondering if we have the same interpretation or not... I think this is the continuation of Bittersweet Chocolate.…
Umm yeah, maybe. I watched it months ago so I don't remember that much. I might have mixed the characters as well. I remember that someone came to that place and asked Playboy why he stay there. And Playboy asked how could he find that place. I might have been thinking too much about it (because my first BL movie was blue hour lol), but I think that's what happened in the movie.

Just wondering if we have the same interpretation or not...

I think this is the continuation of Bittersweet Chocolate. In Bittersweet Chocolate, James was given drugs by Playboy since he was still so young. Maybe he was still in kindergarten or first grade in elementary school when Playboy started giving him drugs. The actor looked so young. James grew up as a drug user (and maybe a drug dealer), but he managed to hide it from her mom. We can see the absence of his mom in this movie. She was rarely at home and didn't talk to him that much. He was preparing for college if I recall it right. But at some point, it looked like he ran out of money. He used the drugs he wasn't supposed to use without paying (I mean. he stole it). Playboy became mad and started hitting him (that's the ending of Bittersweet Chocolate). The director wanted to tell us the importance of family time and proper communication, I think. That way, such things can be seen as soon as possible.
And then Playboy and The Gang of Cherry. In this movie, we can see that James has become a part of the gang completely. He doesn't stay with his mom anymore. In this movie, a lot of time was used to portray the problems caused by James. He stole the drugs, Playboy somehow hides that fact and made Cherry mad. It looks like Playboy cares about the chained boy, so in order to annoy Playboy, Cherry keeps on torturing him. And then in the middle, we see Max and Playboy talk, which was played by the same person (Fuhrer Steven). I don't remember that much about this part, but I think Max (I think he is Playboy's alter ego or whatever, I don't know much about psychological terms) asked why Playboy stay in that place. Playboy started wondering about it. In the end, he decided to go and also take the chained boy with him. At the same time, James became irritated by his new environment and Cherry so he killed Cherry and go. This isn't your usual happy ending but it is... I guess. I think the director wants to tell us that villains (or at least some of them) aren't 100% bad. Sometimes they still show their "good" side. And that they can change. Or maybe it's for us. "It's never too late for a change".
