Either way, I still think those post- credits scenes add nothing to the story. In fact, I think they actually make it a bit worse and it weaken the ending a little. If I re-watch some day I won´t watch that part

Clearly, there's a scene where Xie Zheng's mother talks about what she's going to name her niece, and they decide on the name Changyu. After that, the protagonists are shown walking arm in arm on their way to meet up with everyone else. In that alternate timeline, there's no sign of Changyu's parents or any other family members or there's no other Changyu who happens to share the same name as Xie Zheng's cousin.

If it's really the way you say it is, then that's even worse, because all they've done is confuse people.

And I think those last scenes are completely unnecessary. I didn't want to see the main characters together, even though they're cousins. It's ridiculous in the 21st century, knowing that this practice isn't advisable. And it adds nothing interesting to the story.

I suppose it's in the novel too, but it would have been better if, in those extra credits, the protagonists had met without the events of 17 years prior, as the same characters. That would have been interesting. A new encounter under different circumstances.

In summary, I think the best part of this series is the romance: the scenes between the main characters, their chemistry, their love story, and how their relationship develops. However, the overall plot has some weaknesses. I'd say the series didn't have enough budget to fully develop the fight scenes and the special effects it needed, and the director rushed through certain parts of the story in a way that felt a bit confusing. I think that's what was missing.

That said, I really enjoyed the series!! And I absolutely loved the first 18 episodes!! I give it a **9/10**!

ML is characterized with a great power and intelligence ...but episode 26 and he did absolutely nothing except to be wounded...ok, let´s see. I understand more and more some comments here.

I was excited up to episode 18 or 19, and after that, it's all been going downhill.... :( Episode 24 and If it doesn't get better, the disappointment will be terrible haha

I've seen many historical dramas and I've never heard any of the female leads speak like that, much less laugh like that. It's ridiculous, she sounds like Santa Claus. When she flashes back to the past, she doesn't speak this exaggeratedly either! It's hilarious.

OMG, I´m in episode 6 and I can't stand hearing her talk like that anymore...

Episode 5 and I like the series. The only thing is that the director drag out some scenes too much and it is repetitive and boring

I can't stand when bad people are forgiven as if nothing happened and they end up with dignity. Like that secretary. She's a truly awful person and should face some consequences. Life is unfair enough without us having to put up with the bad guys in kdramas too....

From my point of view the only thing worthwhile is the actress Chae Won Bin, who is charming (not her role). Everything else is unremarkable... :(

Yeah, I know French people care about that. But it's out of arrogance. The same thing happens with English and Spanish; it's often obvious that the actors don't speak the language fluently, but only the French complain. And that's very rude in real life, especially considering it's a country where almost no one speaks another language.
