The drama is based off a novel set in the modern times, where the FL has memories of her pastlife. China bans any reincarnation /time travelling themes, therefore that’s probably why the production team made ‘one and only’ with the past life storyline and this modern one to sorta fill in the gaps, and work around the ban.

Honestly one of the best dramas I’ve seen this year! I never knew the male lead, but his amazing. It gets really sad later, and every time he cries I cry with him ? it’s like I can feel the pain through the laptop
