I take one issue with the point you make. You asserted that YXS intention for drinking was to lower his own inhibitions. I take issue with this assertions because it's impossible for you to know definitively what someone's intentions are. YXS simply could have been enjoying the drinks and not realized how strong they were. Also, FYJ even admits that he was making the drink really strong when the woman asked him for a cocktail.
Secondly you raise a valid point regarding YXS physically consenting and verbally professing his love for FYJ during the pre-coital interactions. However, one could argue that due to his intoxication he was not of sound mind to consent to the activities. And, the intercourse was clearly not something he wanted, when he was not under the influence, as evidenced by how he reacted when awoke the following morning. In addition, in the US if you enter a contract impaired and can prove that the other party was aware you can have a contract voided. By this standard a drunk person can not legally consent to intercourse, even if they would have when they were sober. Although, I'll concede there is currently no international legal consensus on this particular issue.
I do 100% agree however, that YXS clearly does have romantic and sexual attractions to FYJ. I disagree that that fact can be used as the basis for the claim that FYJ didn't take advantage of his brother.

Agreed I was re-watching, and even though the videos were posted on 2017 the flirty scene in episode one was cut short. I can't find the unedited version anywhere. It's infuriating.
So, I just confirmed via their Instagrams that Gus Villa and Louie Babarda are in fact openly queer in some way. In addition they are in a a relationship together. While, I did find the first episode of this show left a lot to be desired, I will watch to support queer actors in "queer" roles. In short, representation matters.
P.S. I use the word queer as an all encompassing term to refer to all the potential identifiers within the LGBTQIA community. Given that how someone identifies may not be readily discernable by their appearance or the appearance of their current partner. So until someone explicitly states how they identity I refer to them as queer.
