I think I saw one of the fan sites say 1.5 months.

I know what you meant. No I don’t find them scary either unless whoever creates them paint their faces in a creepy manner. Dolls, however, are known in the paranormal world to be able to trap spirits, both good and evil.

No, they’re just made out of wood and that’s it. They don’t have faces or clothes or any of that. They’re basically sold as bookcase endings. I just found them cool because you could move them around like their arms and legs and make them look like they’re sitting or running or something. But when it comes to the paranormal, I’m very open to it and have been since I was a kid so this kind of stuff does not scare me at all. That said if those dolls start moving on their own, I’m getting my sage out.

Oh mine are faceless that they just have bald heads and like divots where expressions are there just like human sized wooden dolls you would just carve in a shed and that’s it. I just found them cool looking. But they don’t have like you know facial features, hands feet clothes or anything of that nature.

Yes, every generation comes with its own traditions and superstitions. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with black cats. I have friends that have owned black cats, but going back to my parents and my grandparents and so on so forth everyone’s been always very iffy about black cats.

That one requires his agency to hire proper security/bodyguards to be with him wherever he goes be it set, airport, or home.

Or being pushed around like a sack of potatoes at the airport.

Well, we already know we’re in hotel middle of nowhere with some creepy people that are not human. So much can be deduced, but I’m kind of wondering what the point of all of this is? What is the black cat trying to convey?

And I’m totally cool that we only see entrances and exits.

No problem. It depends which of us gets here first or find something. It’s usually what time does he start? And what time does he end lol.

I think they all are all of the attendance, male and female. Today’s episode sort of confirmed that when the male attendant lost one of his eyeballs lol.

Looks like we’re still there tomorrow so I wonder if there’s going to be mirrors on the ceiling and pink champagne on ice and gathering for a feast. I have to think carefully before I post any more lyrics.

Black cats in many societies mean bad luck. Like in my own culture if a black cat crosses your path, you have to hold onto a metallic button before you walk that same path. I don’t know why my parents told me this. But very often black cats are associated with witches and Halloween and all of that kind of stuff.

I didn’t watch the first season so it wouldn’t make sense for me to watch the second one. But thanks for the recommendation. If things don’t speak to me, I don’t watch them. This has been on my watchlist since I first heard about it, but I did not expect so much creepy factor which I absolutely love and the fact that a lot of people in the comments were like oh I can’t watch this before I go to bed or I need to watch this with the light on and I’m like “I can watch this in the dark and I’m totally fine lol.”

It was such an iconic drama. I remember watching it while finishing middle school going into high school or first year of high school. I don’t remember now, but I had a friend at the time and she would get to the episodes before I did and she would just squeal over the phone And what not and of course I had to go and watch it right away after her. Those were the days with phones attached to walls or what not before cell phones.

They look cool to me.

I mean, they don’t move on their own lol. They move when you move them. But their movements match. I would need holy water and a lot of prayer if they started moving on their own 🤣. I very much doubt IKEA sells haunted marionette dolls.

I agree with someone who said before that the daughter of the inn owner is a very good actress. But my deduction is that they are all marionette puppet dolls come to life and the inn owner is probably the puppeteer. I think the previews also boost that theory. And it looks like one of the male puppet attendants lost half a finger and threw his eyeball into the hot spring when he bumped into XY. I have similar puppets at home just without the strings and they move pretty identically (when moved, not on their own lol).

Edit: So the daughter or whatever she is, is the puppeteer? She uses the eyeball to spy on them. It’s interesting how the entire time she was moving and talking like a marionette and then in the previews, she starts talking normally and acting and moving as such. I’m not entirely sure whether the black cat is evil but then again why did it spare or give one of its nine lives to the criminal? Because it’s been helping them this entire time bringing them to the inn to save the cousin and so on and so forth. Is it paid for its duties?
