Not always. Many actors fans have learned to quietly gather evidence and don’t engage. But those are usually fans of actors who have been in the business for a while. Both of these actors are brand spanking new and their fans did not get the memo obviously.

I think it depends on how many people post at the same time and since we’re having a conversation, a lot of people are adding comments constantly.

Yes, he thankfully recovered. He has gone on to film other things in supporting roles that he has done well and he’s actually in this Saturdays premiere of the White Olive tree also as a Support character. But that year was very dark for him in the sense that he had to go through depression and he did not get a role for a while And he talked about it openly on Weibo and I actually got a reply from him which was so shocking because I always type in English on Weibo and I just told him that he’s great and to keep his head up and we still hope that he gets better roles and he said thank you in English.

New fandom haven’t learned the rules yet. Though you would think after several bouts of this common sense would kick in, but somehow it seems for both. This is the same problem. On Weibo, it’s generalized mudslinging with screenshot of supposed evidence and words written on top of shit and nobody knows whether it’s doctored or not. That’s why I don’t pay attention to it. But if it goes on and on and on, I will Unfollow people like I don’t have a problem with that.
