OK, so I watched both episodes (in full and can form a full opinion) and I have to say that I'm not backing down that the silver gong prick had it coming; I actually think even though the slash with the sword that ML gave him nearly killed him. I probably would've smacked him harder. I really enjoyed both the angst and the solidarity of everyone including ML's family in trying to get him out of trouble. I would have to say that YY and LYC were the MVPs of that episode doing everything to protect ML. I also agree with what LYC said when he "quit" that he has served for 17 years and he knows that LW can't be partial or have favoritism toward the ML because then who would believe LW as this powerful all knowing guy that he is. Sort of made me feel like LW was stuck between a rock and a hard place. In episode 16, getting the emperor through LN to mitigate the charges to solve that new case with those, I don't know what you want to call them zombies or something or other sword was a good idea. I am very glad that ML was able to get out of prison and now has even more trust and support from his fellow gong people of all colors. I do want to say that I think there is something up with the emperor and the GP. In episode 15 when that mirror thingy fell out, though she looked a bit perplexed. She didn't look surprised so I have a feeling that she may know something about the realm sect. And emperor I think is vying for ultimate power. I don't know. The guy just gives me creepy vibes like those two dudes on the sand dune that look evil. In any case, I know that ML will solve the case and hopefully continue to level up with his powers. And I especially really liked the reunion with his family because it just warmed your heart that they just went through this angst of nearly losing him to getting him back in their midst. Though I do hope the male cousin doesn't turn evil later with ambition and what not (sorry Blossom SH symptoms emerge lol). So I liked both episodes very much, looking forward to what happens next.

We all know that dramas tend to deviate heavily from novels or anime. How is this one doing so far? I didn't read the source material.

Oh, I see OK that makes sense. Thanks for the information. I do remember, though I didn't watch it that live introduction when they finally announced the premiere, Dylan was holding all three gongs and it kind of made me chuckle because it looked like he was holding three Olympic medals.

I'm about to watch episode 16 as I didn't get a chance to do so earlier and after I'm done with both, I will write my overall thoughts in a different post and that'll be it. Let's agree to disagree and call it a day.

I wrote that based off of what I saw at the time then when I saw something different, I wrote something else. I think what you don't understand is that other people are not going to follow you and your friends and how they comment on comment sections. Everyone's going to comment differently. I hope you understand that.
