To me, it seems like it was only three years because from what the storyteller in the very beginning of the extra episode was saying that it was three years ago that the great demon sacrifice himself to save the world through rain. I have no idea where six years came from and I don’t remember hearing anything about six years.

Or he could just be giving us the right answer, but going around it in circles not to give us hope. With him you never know, but I don’t trust him with this anymore after AJTL; not just him any other actors too. These questions should just not be asked. Let the audience watch it and see what happens. Because then you have false hope or they do that stupid shit where they turn a happy ending from a novel into a bad or sad ending in the series. It’s better just not to ask the actors.

I don’t get it either because there are some parts that they could’ve easily cut, but they kept in and yet when you get to these important parts like that jade competition and that was just left alone like it never happened and not discussed anymore, it seemed half assed to me. Obviously after a review, they will have to go and edit whatever the censors didn’t like so on and so forth, but if they filmed so much good material they could’ve very easily done this without dragging those 10 episodes of misunderstanding and whatever and now just packing it in like an oversized suitcase for the finale.

This is one ruthless mofo. Rough translation: for him, it was all about that blood pearl and he would kill anyone and everyone to get it. He was jealous of DW‘s father for his jade carving skills, so he leaked their information when they were on the convoy. After that massacre, he locked up YZJ for eight years, poisoned and tortured him. Then after YZJ and KJ escaped, he reinvented himself as this some sort of savior and set up the sanctuary. Somewhere in there he and adult YZJ crossed paths and became friends. And then after the Yan caravan came to him to just stay for a while, he had his people kidnap DW first, then killed the witch doctor and took all his herbs so antidote wasn’t possible and then the ambush/massacre #2 happened. Everything was more or less meticulously planned as soon as he found out who DW‘s father was. Though he may have started scheming when the caravan first arrived, that’s a possibility too. Unfortunately our ML took his actual enemy as his good brother. Now he’s just going to have to figure it out somehow before it’s too late.

That presumably starts filming November 27 so that’s a little bit more wiggle room for them to wrap in the next coming week which would be about time for them to wrap anyways. That said this is still a rumor and I usually go by official announcements only.

And there’s still people to bring down like the bandits and the prince. Not entirely sure how that’s all going to happen of course with the ML and whether he lives or dies. If they’re going to pull a AJTL then I mean he can die in the very last episode at the very end too. At this point everything is a possibility. I really hope that there is some miracle for him and I hope that they don’t mess the ending up by just running full tilt into the wall, taking people down without it making much sense.
