When I looked at his résumé, I realize that other than unnatural fire, I have also seen him in men in love, which was the other modern drama, and I remember that that drama was not good but the only thing that I liked about the drama was the four best friends. His character included that have been friends since like high school or college I don’t remember, and that was literally what kept the drama together like their relationships. The leads relationship, which was a hot mess in a dress since the ML kept bending over backwards for an FL that never deserved it but he did a great job and his character was a positive one and I think also had comedy in there because of the four of them like they kept digging each other out of holes of depression and what not it was literally they saved that show for me from dropping it. I don’t remember whether he was the one who was divorced or married or whatever his deal was or maybe he was the only single one still don’t know. But the fact that this actor has such versatility is great, especially given his age 36 by that time in their industry careers start to wind down a bit and you get perhaps less roles. I hope he continues to be versatile and choose different roles and returns to like costume dramas because I believe the first time I ever saw him was in a costume drama; boy was his character annoying he was not a complete asswipe creep, but he was annoying and arrogant. But then he kind of grew on you sort of like a fungus lol. You just learned that he was spoiled and rich so he just took that to the extreme, but the series was a dream of splendor and it was a great series and toward the end he did help the main three ladies a lot so once he stopped being and acting like someone who thought he was better than who he was, you could tolerate him.

I like this series what I don’t like is the second couple which I think is just filler and I don’t like the fact that we have to deal with nasty SML. Also, the fact that we have to play detective as well as the ML in what happened back then like who’s shady who’s not shady. This is supposed to be a love story that’s why it’s part of the platforms heartbeat theater not a multi decade murder building collapse, investigation frame job case. I think the only reason it’s in the platforms heartbeat theater is because of the 27 kisses that are going to start happening well one happened or one and a half in 13 and the next is 19 and then we’re off to the races.

Well, the fact that we all collectively cannot stand him already means that the actor is doing a phenomenal job. The actor himself is great. He’s very outgoing and has a sense of humor. I don’t follow him or know much about him. I just know that he’s older and it popped up on X actually that he’s married and has been for a while and has a three-year-old son already which makes sense since he’s 36 years old. Actually, his marriage and personal life were trending at one point a few days ago, which is why it popped up on X. So it also makes sense that he plays the older Stepbrother because ML IRL is something like 29 years old so age matters it’s a good thing. They did it that way instead of flip it around and make like the younger brother the older brother which I’ve seen a little too much of including in SOM though that was only by like a few months. So when we’re watching, obviously we’re watching the characters and what not but every single time we’re like “oh my God I just wanna throw him off a bridge” which I say very often it just shows and I have to keep it in the back of my mind that the actor is playing a very convincing creep lol.

Yeah, I saw that on X because it came from the live stream and the actors talking about it and DX who plays SML also mentioned the fact that him and ML and this is something that CXX confirmed they have a good arc later on so I’m guessing it’s SML‘s redemption arc. So that’s probably going to happen somewhere in the last four episodes because I think that the clearing of father‘s name will probably happen in the last like two as that usually happens, but I do hope we get express next Tuesday because otherwise there’s going to be a break on Wednesday and then the last four days of episodes are going to be only one episode a day so usually IQIY gives us express; in these cases. I hope it continues with that and we don’t have to deal with the break of one day and then one day only episodes because it’s going to hurt the drama. Plus the whole revelation of her finding out his secret and confronting him and then them working it out. Will also be on the break. Otherwise, we would be able to just watch those six episodes and no what is coming when based on who watches first. I still think SML‘s father had something to do with what happened but obviously until that comes to light these are all just suspicions. But I think dude is legit shady.

Many of us just fast-forward those two it just seems like they were thrown in there to fill in gaps for some reason. Personally, I don’t understand because this show is already so full of many things that it just did not need this other story. And plus their relationship just doesn’t seem cohesive like she does everything and he does nothing in the relationship other than occasionally cook.

Well, when they have their private moments, it’s not like he knows where they could be and is going to be running around a city looking for them to stand in between them so obviously that’s a no or when they’re in ML‘s apartment or her apartment he’s not going to be there either so it’s really only job related, but I wonder how much more job related they’re going to be together because he does have his own damn company to run. And this project even though he’s apparently in charge of engineering or something; his company still did not win the bid; its their design; its their aesthetic. They should see it all the way through without him always being there.

Thankfully, every single parent that I know both my own friends and other people don’t do that kind of stuff that’s more old-school or cultural based stuff. But praising other people’s kids, especially in front of your kid is like what are you even thinking?

I just don’t want him in every single episode once they get together. And the togetherness even the site on Weibo is counting down three days lol.

I watched the previews as well. Yeah I think that all of nasty ass wipes attempts are going to fuel a certain someone to confess in a few episodes. But he moves out himself because I think he does not want to give said asswipe fuel, but obviously that ain’t stopping him. So what SML didn’t want happening I suppose did or will. I just don’t want it to be like super cringe with the douche bag.

I may actually skip watching today’s and see what everyone says about it and just combine it with 17 tomorrow since that one is by itself. Besides today, I have a different series premiering and it’s dropping five episodes so I’m not really sure I would even get to this series. I really don’t want to go through any more SML hitting on FL in front of ML just to piss him off which he’s going to continue to do. I think it will get better once the two of them are together; SML at that point, we’ll never have a chance even when things come out next week.

It’s very strange. It’s like he spends the majority of his life stalking the ML and the FL. But you’re right when there are two kids in a house close in age you definitely don’t criticize one and praise the other.
