They would stick the wuxia genre into a modern if they could. I never understand why that one is even used just because of the fight scenes most of which have fantastical elements and aren’t real wuxia fight scenes.
I watched it. It was my first c-drama ever back in November of 2019.
That was a hell of a cliffhanger. And what sucked is afterwards with all the accusations of plagiarism we didn’t even know if there was ever going to be a sequel. And now in this one, there is no romance because the FL is under age.
We were all worried about it when we heard that she got cast and found out her age so a lot of people weren’t sure whether they were going to watch it but since they didn’t add the romance tag and it doesn’t look like from the trailers, there’s anything even close to romance just a lot of battling and shit. I think we should be safe.

There’s also the whole thing with they can’t add romance to this series since the FL is under age. So I hope that portion gets cut out for like mentor and mentee.
I remember when boo-boo was filming that whole fight sequence with YA and I thought to myself “he looks like a flying squirrel” and was laughing so then when I saw the sequence without the wires today, I again said “he totally looks like a flying squirrel” and then remembered my comment from a year ago lol.
