There is a CL dinner event tonight.
What’s PF and ABJ? Also, the director is fairly new so she’s trying to get a lot of good dramas under her belt as a director and screenwriter as well. I think she wrote one of the shows I watched, but I don’t remember.

oh if i remember, didn't someone post here or his profile page that he has a confidential Louboutin brand event…
Yeah I remember that too. When he joins a new drama, we’ll migrate to that page lol.

Well, we all know the gremlin is an extrovert so socializing is not a problem for him. So I think these types of serious events definitely get him to be seen more, not just by the brand themselves, but by other people because directors and other big name actors that are already represented by the brand or brands see him as well. And I think he has shown himself to be a very down to earth and thoughtful person with proper ethics and morals, so I think more directors will be paying attention to him in the future. I mean from what I understand he got the part for this series on his own through auditioning without his agencies help or anything.

He said I don't remember when that the rest of his four dramas should drop this year so let's hope so. And we have this one now for next year and I wonder if he's going to do one more or maybe two more like compilation type things, but I think that he should definitely take different types of roles to show his versatility more. The thing I learned about variety shows is though it is good exposure obviously for a new actor, but people tend to forget them quickly. I mean the show is not the actors. Unless the show is one of those that has a season after season and he's a regular member than that's understandable. Also, I think he needs to rest more because he's literally a skeleton at this point with the diet that his dumbass agency has him on.

These luxury brands, all scope actors out for a long time before they sign them so I think this is part of that scoping out. Something I noticed to when I first started following different actors in the entertainment industry over there is that these luxury brands can spend months to a year if not more literally watching what the actor does, his morals, his ethics, all that kind of stuff before they determine whether their thoughts and beliefs align with that individual and they sign them.

He’s got a lot of brand, live streams and stuff of that nature and they keep sticking him in variety shows. I think that he needs to throttle back on the variety shows and do more acting actual gigs because that’s what is remembered by the industry, especially if the character is complex. Variety shows come and go. There’s a zillion of them.

Ok so it matches what the other person set up top. Is he part of that brand or he hasn’t signed with them yet?

Also on the plane because I think it’s like two or three hours flight from point A to point B? Still I hope after all these events, he goes home and rests properly before whatever his next gig is.

Well, I don't think he's going to post anything else about this series and will probably move onto something else so here anyways unless the site itself puts up promotional material I'm done with collecting videos. If you guys find something that would be great.

it started off good but the hype is dying 😔 not a flop, but not good results as expectedmy hope now is that…
Yeah, I’m not into those vertical dramas myself just because I like a long, nice storyline without dragging preferably and not something hamster wheel based. That happens more often than not but YY is doing a fantastic job here playing this character. I hope he takes more roles like this though less injuries on set would be preferable. That’s a given for all the actors. For me this genre is a favorite because the kicking ass taking names thing is awesome. I guess you could say grew up in a sense watching Jackie Chan so even though his or more modern that niche is great. Sometimes a romcom will come along that just to ease your mind, but this genre wouldn’t really is the right type is great.

I stopped watching the show after episodes 12 and 13 when the ML chose to protect the man involved in trafficking…
Please read the discussion thread Why ML doesn’t kill. I think you may understand the situation more.

I think that a lot of dramas also dropped at the same time so people who like different things go different directions. But ultimately it would be good if it wasn’t just like fans of actors, but also just regular people who like the genre to watch because that’s the important audience for the show to get.

people nowadays seems to only like stories where the resolution comes fast, there cant have a long development…
And they don’t know or care to know why the ML doesn’t kill or why he protects supposedly the bad people. I didn’t know the background either until someone who did wrote a whole spiel on here and then stuck it in the discussion thread, and I took the time to read it to understand and I was like oh well that makes sense. I want people to also read that thread and understand why the ML doesn’t just chop someone’s head off as he feels. That he runs on a different moral level than the vigilante’s out there. People really need to understand the storyline and understand what is happening and yeah, you are absolutely right. They just want quick results wham Bam boom but some stories don’t do that and I like that. At the same time you know, people are going to complain one way or another.

I personally love the genre so much, and the fact that even though I never saw the old shows from the genre, I love the fight scenes. I love how intricate they are. I love the storytelling and I personally look forward each day to when I can watch the show. It's the only show I'm watching right now, but still, it brings me that anticipation of what's going to happen next. And now that I know the backstory a little bit of the main character and why he doesn't kill it makes it even more interesting. It is very sad that a lot of people just don't have the time or the patience or whatever their deal is to really get into a story. They just want instant results or the hamster wheel storyline. There's a reason this series was filmed for five months and there was so much work done on each fight scene and for each one. Furthermore, the score here or the rating here does not matter because this is a fan site. Only the ratings on the mainland matter for the drama's success or failure and so far it's been doing pretty well.

This drama brings back the genuine vibe of Wuxia genre, proper martial arts scenes with exploration of Jianghu.…
Agreed.
