My thoughts of todays episodes:
I stand by previous thoughts that BCF wasn’t behind the “incident”. Height is wrong, so are the hands, totally different wig and length. The white clothing gives the viewer the person they want to blame. But even the way he used super sonic speed to escape from WSX was not how BCF acts. Furthermore, he attacked WR first and was mostly interested in her until LC stabbed him in the shoulder with her hairpin. So who knows if he would have attacked WR that way if it hadn’t been for LC’s intervention.

I’m very proud of MZY’s performance as a rape victim. She made the aftermath feel very real and very brutal. And although SMZ didn’t really kill her father, it was more like suicide by someone else’s sword, LC running in just at that moment after already being brutalized the night before, she wouldn’t have seen it any other way. So though she didn’t have to cut ties w/SMZ, I guess that extra angst angle had to be done. Considering her dad was blown up spectacularly by her brother, he still chose to attack SMZ.

Everyone did a fantastic job in these episodes except WR. She’s best when she’s knocked out and has nothing to say or do. I doubt they will evolve her in just 14 episodes. So a throw away character. The brotherhood was on full display even though it seems they will be splitting up to pursue their various goals soon. Everyone is very open about their aspirations; no secrets there. We’ll see what happens with all of them.

I'm 100% with you on all points. BCF is a narcissist but he hasn't done anything yet, that I feel is "wrong". He's a complex yet very open character. He doesn't hide his thirst for power and fame; if those around him choose to turn a blind eye to it, it's on them. Todays attack (while I haven't seen the episodes yet), just doesn't match his character in the slightest.

Most of us like it, some don’t. Give it a go if you like more traditional Wuxia dramas.

I think SMZ will only kill dad. DJF may survive but LC will not let SMZ off the hook even though dad was not a good guy. I do hope she becomes more educated through that and who knows maybe before SMZ dies she’ll forgive him. All she knows thus far is daddy trafficked bad goods, the rest he’s kept her blissfully unaware of; whether good idea or not.

I think SMZ should have been lead here; short life or not. Fu may try and talk big but as you saw when LS got him in a grip, that coward could only stutter. If LS decided to kill Fu, he could very easily do it and make him disappear. I think LC has been too naive about what her father and bro have been up to. But we’ll see with today’s episodes where all of that will lead to.

Everyone has their own priorities and things they can watch. That’s totally cool.

I was talking about in the beginning of them joining the Fu crew. Whether BCF will help them or not remains to be seen. Only person he wants to help is himself. LC spoke on her father’s behalf and SMZ maybe believed to let LS go who knows, but they’ve already cooked up the plot to take him out.

I hope this will have a powerful proper ending.

As for LYN, I actually first saw him on season 1 of Our Song so discovered his singing capabilities first. Then I saw him in TLB and was impressed. UN came later last year but I started following him after TLB. He’s got 3 more costume dramas to come btwn this year and next after this one. Plus he’s in this variety show currently airing which is a hoot and mysterious.

I love LYN. Sole reason I’m watching this drama is for him lol. Though I follow MZY too. And his vocal range is insane!

I agree and we haven’t even met them all yet. Fu coward and chancellor foster father of playboy dude are very much the big baddies. But there’s an even higher someone somewhere.

Why are you apologizing? It’s ok to have that opinion of BCF or any opinion on the character lol. He’s def what I consider morally grey; he’s got more of a narcissistic personality. He hasn’t made it big or a name for himself yet though killing those 5 dudes was a start in their world, but he’s already acting like the entire world deserves to bow down to him. For what? 🤷🏻‍♀️ But that’s what makes the character complex and I like it. Yep I said spoiled brat in another discussion we had below for the episodes yesterday. He’s blaming SMZ for saving him but how is he supposed to make a name for himself if he’s dead? Lol like he’ll be known as just another dude DFJ killed, big whoop.

Just listening to orders isn’t exactly the case; they wanted to do it so they did it. No one made them do evil deeds; more money, power, etc, was their choice. Protecting family came with the price tag. I’m sure had DFJ been adopted by SMZ’s dad instead he might have been a good person instead of a not so good one. That said, I agree with you that deputy Fu is a sick freak but a coward too. Something tells me his demise is soon.

Kidnapping his own sister to help their father murder SMZ plus being involved in the trafficking wouldn’t qualify him for high moral code of the year in my book. BCF has yet to do anything morally unjust, though I’ve got a feeling that’s coming.
