I never trusted the April 22nd date as I don't go by rumors. But CM has been releasing previews and trailers on their FB page since the get go. They've been promising soon; well soon can be 2023. So yeah I'm just waiting for AVV to finish subbing part 1 before I start watching. Hopefully they'll do part 2 also because I'm not holding out hope for anyone else. Youku and CM dropped the ball big time here.

A lot of characters introduced that we haven't seen since. Probably my only real negative in this drama so far. I don't like useless unnecessary characters in a drama.

We all have our own opinions on dramas. I enjoyed TLB very much but I also don't compare dramas even if they're in the same genres and so forth. Every drama to me is a separate experience. That's how I ultimately rate and review them. But that's just me.
I think BFX will have her moment to shine but I don't think she's a side character; she's very much the FL. I think our ML has already figured out that something is up with YWY that's not kosher but unsure if he's figured out that he's the lack of soul cult leader as their numbers have dwindled. I think he's got bigger plans beyond that and will probably betray purple robe dude. Not sure which of them is the ultimate big bad.

Some lines in that preview, shows that he promised her father to keep her safe. So that's another def that he knows exactly who she is. When I was watching Ep 16 and that flower; I was like oh yeah, that'll come in handy at some point. HFX was never really ill past that little stint in the river; so he's overdo for something big but she'll save him. I don't think it'll drag on too long.
