Finally! We got some evolved and developed characters not just the same one. I love the wedding scene and how GYY's dad showed up. That was a tearful moment. It's nice to have a good tug and pull between the leads as opposed to the previous nonstop nepotism for one. The "foreign" soldiers were interesting to say the least. A bit more involvement with the side characters and their lives is another plus; rounds out the series nicely. The comic relief is great as well. I do hope Xiao Fei does start to acknowledge GYY as dad at some point, you can see how painful that is for all involved.

I agree. So much of the writing is inconsistent that it's really uprooting fundamentals here. GL goes from a Neanderthal to a tactician in 2 episodes makes no sense; though relatively smooth time jumps, the information within them....eh not so much. Screenwriter is very much at fault here.

If you have ppl you trust and they betray that trust, there's a lot wrong with that. But I don't think lady in red has proven trustworthy to XFN.

Something tells me old man booger won't betray XFN to the delusional one. Though the chick in red is still questionable. They need to send her elsewhere, I don't trust her worth a damn.
