It's just sad because this drama had so much potential. If they wanted the Gao actress to take front and center, they should have written a script solely around her. She was in another series I watched but I don't even remember who she was there. What company/agency does she belong to?

I actually haven't but I heard that you need to watch the other series it's connected to so that it makes sense but I don't find the others interesting; like it's not a stand alone. So not really sure if I should.

LYN is a 6'3 goofball. I'm watching him on this season's Our Song and obviously he's got a killer vocal range but he also loves to cause mischief. When he smiles the widest his eyes disappear so he sort of looks like a string bean Buddha 🤣.

I have no idea how to work Douyin. I'll take your word for it lol. Who's YCY? I suck at acronyms sorry lol. Heroes is slated for next year at some point. I hope it comes early; we need a good drama lol.

I'm waiting for Heroes too but for LYN. Glad Joseph is in that too; he needs a better drama.

I've dropped dramas too. The stuff I actually want to see are either coming next year or stuck in purgatory.

It's soon to become the worst costume drama I've ever seen if it doesn't change in tomorrow's or Tuesday's episodes. Heading into the last 10 after this week and it keeps this same stupidity, it'll be unsalvageable for me and I think many other ppl here.

Wouldn't know but I'm a writer/author and I find this writing atrocious. I wouldn't have given this a passing grade if I taught the class.

Нет проблем 🙂. I will speak as someone who's an author/writer and has read screenplays, this is solely on their part and that of the director and producer in post production. They edit these dramas a certain way. The acting here isn't top notch in the slightest but all things considered this isn't a very high budget production either. But I personally feel they have lost the opportunity to have a real antagonist; instead they chose the two second leads and made them really stupid. It was a serious miscalculation on their parts.

Now you know why ppl vent a lot here. We like to keep our blood pressure low lol.

The first sign of major trouble is when more then one person goes into a holding pattern for a show.

Smdh. It ends Nov. 22nd, so we get the 6 this wk, 6 next wk, and the final 4 the wk after. If they stick most of the plot into the last 4........I will not have any words.

Yeah they're not very credible antagonists. When I think of villains, I want someone with an evil mind, wanting power and actually creating havoc in doing so, with proper character development. Here we got two characters that start out relatively benign and then turn into seriously delusional and idiotic while getting all of the ppl that care for them into trouble or strangers killed. The one guy that's an actual antagonist (QT) has had maybe 20 minutes of screen time the entire time now going into the second half of the show. It literally makes no sense. This show had real potential but that's fading fast right now for me. I will finish watching but the score will most likely be lower then what I gave A Female Student and I skipped a lot of his parts there too just like I'm skipping a lot of Gao's parts.

No idea. This second half of the year of dramas are really poor. Pearl Eclipse with Yang Mi and William Chen is supposed to be better though it's not my cup of tea but maybe it'll turn the drought of crap around. It seems that after the summer, all they've been putting out is very crappy dramas. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's so like the SML in A Female Student. He got more screen time then both leads combined. But he played a nightmarish stalker to FL who wanted to kill ML and then FL in the "if I can't have her, no one can" plot. Here she's evil and delusional. I hope she doesn't get some sort of redemption plot in the last episode because that would just make this mess so much worse.

Damn, y'all are scaring me with these comments. Currently this drama is getting a 5 from me but that may shrink if this nonsense continues through the 6 episodes this wk.
