Read the reviews, it's a worthwhile watch. I don't remember now which episode they got together in but there's no love triangles or misunderstandings, zero breakups. I don't think they had a kiss but the series is more of a crime / palace politics drama. That said, the couple worked together and were equals. Hope that helps you.
