He has a sweet tongue , So sometimes it does seem like he has feelings. But he hasn't (:
I don’t compare dramas. There’s always fundamental differences. YAMG is top notch modern relationships. Highly recommend. I saw 12 episodes of Rebirth for you and will probably hold off until more have come out. Not a fan of pettiness or palace politics much. If it gets too far into that, I’ll drop it. The dramas I’m highly anticipating are stuck in purgatory somewhere so I’m looking around for what I can find lol. One May drop in November but I may take a break after this. I’m tired of crappy dramas.

yes they all go to the same university!
How many proposals were there? Lol. I mean apparently Shi Yi lies to XJ that he’s proposing to someone else but actually proposes to her; did I understand that clearly?

Hey if the rest of the drama is great but the ending is a bit wonky that’s still glass half full, right? Most of these dramas regardless of genre are a mess! A Female Student and Dear Diary both of which I finished; I wish I never started. Either there is no plot and the screenwriters are creating stuff out their asses (Dear Diary) or the entire plot falls apart after episode 16 out of 30 and takes a creepy stalker turn (A Female Student); read my reviews on both, you’ll see what I mean. The dramas that set the bar very high for me this year were The Long Ballad and You Are My Glory in their respective genres. No cliches or tropes both slow burn Romances but TLB had faults air was still a total recommendation from me. Also You Are My Hero was another great but not perfect one.

Oh yes I recall you mentioning those. Everyone daydreams. Where are the bonus clips? In the ending credits?

Maybe it’s important but to him not so much if he gets the girl. Btw the picture of the two of them on the beach, was that taken for advertisement purposes or is that for real?

I’m an author myself and plot cohesion as well as character development are pet peeves. Having not read the novel, I honestly go by what I see and how it’s presented to me. I want ML and FL to get together but not in a galloping runaway horse way just so the screenwriters can squeeze all endings in one go, you know? The majority of cdramas have cliches, those can get fast forwarded. As long as the general essence of that bond of friendship is never broken and those that are meant to be together, get there, it’s fine.

I’ve seen enough of these dramas to understand that tropes and misunderstandings are very common. Sometimes too much so. Putting myself in their shoes a bit age wise, I’d say that if they were seniors in HS in ‘97-‘98, I was a freshman. I get the mind frame to a certain extent.

Is the episode guide here accurate on the episodes I mean? I kind of understood what was going on from there. But the proposal was actually for her I’m guessing?

Well, I like it so far though I wish they were all less dense in the feelings department. I also wish they did more things together as a group even when they're studying. Like that trip to the beach. It just shows their friendship more; college years are about fun as well as studying.

I see. But he still forgives FL obviously and does she understand she fucked up?

If it costs her and it's too late, how can they possibly have a happy ending that's not the last 10 minutes of the series?

And she sees ML finally with clear eyes in the last episode and 10 minutes?

I was in HS in the 90s I get it. I'm glad to see their friendship hasn't suffered. Who does SML end up liking though? I'm also getting overtures that after 30, the plot falls apart or their growth does or something?

So only episode 27 does FL confess her love or before that? I'm starting 14 tomorrow.
