ZKY gave an interview recently apparently one of the questions he was asked was which kiss was the first one filmed and he couldn’t remember, which was very funny.
Oh, and in the interview, when both leads spoke about the big blowup breakup scene that they had to film three or four times to get the director happy even though the two of them were so emotionally exhausted after the first or second time, they actually said that that was apparently either the last scene filmed in the entire series by them or one of the last so they had already done everything else and that was their last scene so they were already very familiar with each other and had already filmed the entire series pretty much. So I thought that was kind of cool that they left that hard portion for the very end as opposed to doing it as like their first scene when they still are practically strangers.
Oh, I’m not watching this again. If only for the last episodes when the current timeline kicks in and they’re together or even in the past timeline where they’re happy before the big storm hits. Yeah 23. He’s just essentially a very big kid. He can be mature, of course, but for the most part, he’s an extrovert and a jokester and a prankster.
Considering the drama is 30 eps long, I did not imagine them getting together so soon or at least that's what…
I’d rather them getting together at this point then in the last 4 to 3 episodes and everything being rushed plus the other two couples I don’t know what the heck they’re gonna do with them.
This is the very first schedule/calendar that I’ve ever seen that only shows three days instead of a whole week…
I always rate it just because it’s honest even if I drop it, I don’t review dropped dramas anymore unless they’re really bad or I actually have time for that. What does CD stand for?

Take your time with the ocean there's no rush. You have to be able to feel safe and comfortable perhaps take someone with you to hold your hand or something of that nature. As for the dramas, I don't know what came after the two of those I don't know what the first one is by the acronym, but the second one I did watch and I did like it. I follow LYN so it did pretty good. I do like watching modern dramas and of course they have the tropes, but I do drop them if they have like slapstick humor, which I cannot stand, but the slaps to humor happens in costume dramas too so as soon as I know that's happening I'm out Like I cannot stand that. I absolutely cannot stand that because it literally takes over the storyline and everything else. For me, I like a drama that has a solid storyline that's like a tree you know like the trunk of a tree and then you can have some plots that branch off, but not to the point where they overshadow the trunk of the tree so that's my analogy or comparison whatever you wanna call it. The characters have to be solid. They absolutely have to be and I look at production like cut scene splice scenes things going, haywire the trunk of the tree just starting to rot because the storyline is starting to fall apart. The sub plots are taking over the main plot. That goes for both modern And costume as well as every other genre Republic era or whatever it is. I like the crime procedurals because I watch that in American series or reality shows rather, but I do not like when there's too much propaganda when propaganda starts to overshadow the whole point of the series not a good look if I do finish the series and I don't drop it. I will definitely give it a score. That's not quite high and I always write an unbiased straight to the point review and if the series that I finished failed in someway, I will not beat around the bush, and I am brutally honest. I don't attack the actors, but I do attack the characters if they screw up. I never touch the actors Because they're working with a script and a director that tells them what to do I mean obviously a lot of times they do put themselves and their own opinions in it, but the majority is the script so you have to put the blame where it belongs.

Wow, I just realized how large this thread has gotten. You dropped 20 dramas holy moly. But yeah, totally revisit them when you have time and see if maybe you were too hasty or or because you were busy. You just didn't have the mindset for it. Because certain dramas you need a mindset, you know. I mean, I dropped five dramas, but I also had months like January and a few others where I was like in a rut like in a slump because nothing good was coming out and I didn't really feel like watching anything so I just stuck to the American reality shows that I watch. It helped a lot and it kind of made me hopeful that something interesting would drop and amazingly there were a few dramas that like I said, I never thought of watching they were never on my watchlist, but I gave them a try and I'm very glad I did. There were One or two dramas that I started and I dropped and then I started and then I dropped again and then there was one that was in my drop list for like a month before I don't know what it was, but something told me to just pick it up and watched it for the leads because I'm interested in the ML because of his acting and I just decided to just watch the first couple because there was, I don't remember one or two others that I couldn't care less about so I watched for them and it was decent. I gave it an 8.5 I believe. I don't know what kind of dramas you like to watch. If you want I could give you some ideas, but I need to know like where you are and like obviously this and what else. But before that happens, check out the 20 that you dropped first lol. I understand about fear of the ocean or fear of water. At least you're not that bad that you can't take a shower. For people with phobias of water I recommend just slowly trying like a Jacuzzi or a pool with water that is only like 3 feet or 4 feet so it doesn't even Reach your upper body and just get used to being in it and walk around and hold onto the walls or the bars whatever is in the pool use different Floaties or tubes or whatever to make you feel more secure. A lot of gyms also have like trainers and people that help with that kind of stuff.

I had a phobia of water getting into my nose because of a near drowning incident myself, but I overcame it and I swim not like lap swimming though slowly but scuba diving I fell in love with when I was 15 years old and that was back in 1999 so that's just aged me But yes, you have to learn how to swim to be able to scuba dive but it is the most relaxing amazing feeling ever. I always encourage people to try. With dramas I have a lot of of them on my watchlist and the ones that I am not highly anticipating I will give every drama that's on my watchlist the benefit of the doubt And for the most part they usually come out decent or good this year. It was just not a good year I think I dropped like four or five dramas and that's a lot for me for one year. But I also watched a few that I never thought I would watch and they turned out pretty good so sometimes stepping out of your element works as well.

But that's going to actually harm the series. It needs to be every day with a tight schedule. Plus because it is showing on TV platform usually ends before the TV schedule does. Regardless even this one, but if they don't keep a nice tight schedule and there's going to be days off and all that other stuff that we get often and this show will suffer and that's not what they want I think because marketing investors revenue all of that is something they want and need and It'll start to fall away if there's issues.
did she really trick him into going abroad? i saw in the trailer that li wu was holding a paper that contained…
With everything that the previous show, she does not actually verbalize that she's planning to go abroad with him or that he's even going abroad. Because in the argument in the clip that I translated, he specifically told her I don't want to go and why are you making this decision for me. They were not arguing about her starting a company in China as opposed to America so that's why I'm questioning whether that was true. If that document was in fact, a partnership agreement to start a new company in China, I have a feeling that she probably didn't tell him that she was going to go with him, but just didn't tell him at all about the new company and he finds the paperwork and says what is this and that's when she lays it all out for him about she doesn't want to burden him and for him to sacrifice and all the rest of that. But she still made the choice for him to go abroad and she packed for him so I think she contacted whomever is in charge of the whole going abroad thing and filled out everything for him. I don't think he filled it out himself otherwise he would've packed his own suitcase. Him going abroad was never in the cards for him. He wasn't even thinking about it. Or maybe he was thinking about it, but the fact that in their argument, there was no accusation coming from him saying you promised and you lied is where the question rises. But we will know on Sunday what really went down or even on Saturday because obviously she's talking about it with her bestie and we will see what she decides to do. In the meantime, while all of this is going on. She's still pretending that she's wholeheartedly with him which I think is cruel as well. The break up was cruel the shit she said was cruel and even though she does have feelings for him, the fact that she's keeping secrets from him during the very start of their relationship and obviously there's a part where they sleep together so that's extra. Anyways, I've rambled on enough.
Basically, she felt burdened that he kept apparently giving up opportunities for her so what she ended up doing was she filled out all the necessary paperwork for him to go abroad, which was accepted and she packed for him. She never asked whether it was something he wanted or not she made the decision for him and on top of that to get him to leave she said a bunch of mean words and broke up with him after which she slammed the bedroom door ihis face and both were crying and sitting on the opposite sides of the door so that’s basically what happened. And this happened right before her birthday and he had been planning something big. So there was no company that she was going to start an America or anything of that nature. Returning to the present and then there’s also her thinking through everything he had asked her, and she finally made the decision that she wanted to basically be with him and there’s the two of them running toward each other in the rain as he catches her umbrella and they hug. So 23-24 will be all about them getting back together and I really truly hope that the past timeline is officially over in 23 with that massive break up. He leaves and I guess he deletes her WeChat or something. Because going abroad was actually a good idea, but she should have spoken to him. You can’t make a decision for an adult without his consent so I really don’t know how that was even possible.
Don’t know if you saw the interviews, but the break up was filmed three or four times and it lasted something like 20 minutes when they were filming I’m sure it’s shorter in the episode but the actors both said they were exhausted after the first or second take so they didn’t really know or understand why the director needed two more. You will see ZKY the emotional Ronis is amazing. He pulls it off beautifully. We have some sweet moments. I’m guessing today from past timeline as they get together and that last something like three episodes for the past timeline and them together and then things go south in the past timeline they haven’t showed any previews of present timeline, so I’m guessing we’re not going to be getting that unless it’s with couple number two who are by the way amazing. And I have no idea how they’re even going to squeeze in a couple number three because they are apparently there, but I guess just in the background.
More teaching ZKY how to go in for the mega smooch lol. But he nailed it eventually. Funniest was that the director was the happiest lol: https://weibo.com/7926510575/5243097846123059
Annnnnd! We finally get what we’ve been asking for in episode 23. Smooth transition from awful past to togetherness current! It’ll be Sunday but looks like it’ll be very worth it. Read spoiler above because people have been watching videos and thinking one thing or another thing from previews. This is what really happened.
The characters speaking to the camera; cute: https://weibo.com/7926510575/5243121753391564
