I believe the dynamics unfolded as follows:》Episode 22 ▪︎09:28 NJL went to Changxi Dumplings to tell LL…
I have no idea what they’re going to do with this. There are just way too many cut scenes and other scenes that are just splice together and you’re supposed to figure it out on your own.
And the other four guys that were held hostage. I don’t understand why the plot had to just forget about them…
I think she cares, but it’s being written and done in a certain way they basically had them fall off the grid. I’m wondering whether it had anything to do with the cut scenes. Plus wasn’t it XS that was supposed to go and look for Jiang and the others at the other mine? Whatever happened to that?
After watching the end of ep 25 (credits), I understand why they let them go. Not a match for them.
I did see that in the closing credits as well. Well, they only have to blame themselves for not training for 20 years but sitting on their asses. It wasn’t until YT gave them any viable information that they even knew that the fiends were humanized. They were caught completely off guard. That said the fight in the dumpling place clearly showed that at least FL can definitely take on one of the fiends since she threw him through a damn window.
I just want to know, the English version of lottl uploaded on wetv, is the dubbing done by the same actors only…
I think the leads and ZL dubbed themselves as for everyone else I don't know. It showed that CXX's studio released him dubbing for the show and how happy he was when he was finally done.
Ditto; we don’t have that many episodes left so things need to start happening and being explained a little…
Season 2? First time hearing this. Doesn't seem like they have a lot of fiends in massive numbers because everyone she called arrived. If they were such a plague, I think they would've already caught the attention of the human public. We still don't know what XS is up to; good or bad. Even though novelist and scriptwriter are the same person, it's obvious that there's already deviation so until that final fight we won't know and we don't have a lot of episodes so I just hope they get around to putting the puzzle pieces together. We don't even know what species the housekeeper is she could be a fiend or she can be a ghoul per the novel, but because they haven't introduced ghouls at all and we're already nearing the end, maybe they won't. At this point, Jiang and those other 4 can be presumed dead; they've fallen off the face of the earth.
Bittersweet moments for the leads as they share their traumas with each other. Talking heals too. As does starting to look the same with the haircut and shave plus a home cooked meal. Meanwhile, each time XS is on screen, you are just wondering what’s going on in that brain of his.
And oh yeah, everything is under such surveillance that the fiends didn’t even know their Goliath fiend was dead and YT gone. Their organization may have better technology and what not but not enough fiends so maybe that’s why they employ humans? I just hope we don’t have any loose ends at the end with—if one episode a day—this thing ending on the 10th.
YT is extremely resilient. He's been living "under cover" since he read the diary and the truth about…
Ditto; we don’t have that many episodes left so things need to start happening and being explained a little bit more not just the past, but also the present.
They literally forgot about jiang the moment yan tuo was saved 🤣
And the other four guys that were held hostage. I don’t understand why the plot had to just forget about them because they’re pretty important. I know there’s a lot of cut scenes but you would think that uncle Jiang would be important to the FL especially.

That was through security cameras and other things. And it was obvious, but in this case, nothing was obvious I think it's a plot hole and we've seen quite a few of those considering that scenes have been cut.
I think he want to understand the fiend transformation and all the different part of it and how they all link…
It would be infiltration 101 if that's what he was planning to do. He just wanted answers. He knew that something was terribly wrong his entire life and here was the lifeline that he needed. You infiltrate some thing if your intentions are bad. Yes he lived under fake Lin's roof, but he had no chance or choice. He was a literal prisoner as we found out in yesterday's episodes. She used him as collateral to his own parents. 20 years of his life had been a lie most of which he had to very carefully create so not to arouse her suspicion. Otherwise she probably would've killed him earlier.
