As for the running away; the fiends knew they were screwed so fan guy got the XH guy to retreat with the rest of the creeps. They started it and they ran first. Speaks for itself. We actually don’t know what she punished them for; she didn’t say. She just talked about some mumbo-jumbo whomever sees everything and rules must be followed. Mission was to get the girl back and kill whomever but remember you were talking about cops and things so how were they supposed to do that?

I noticed in your post you use the word “might” a lot except that she didn’t do any of those things. And when they were finally running away, she and the other two were just standing there. But they came at her and the chick with the whip first, so they are the aggressor that would never hold up in any court of law. If we’re talking about absolutely everybody there being human. Which we know, isn’t the truth. All of your mites fall apart because it didn’t happen “there might be people next-door..” Well, if the viewer doesn’t see them, the viewer doesn’t know about them. So to the viewer, they’re not there. And besides if these Fiends and their lackeys can kill anyone and everyone those cops that you’re talking about, don’t stand a chance guns or no guns.

But there were also two other people with her three people against a whole hoard, even if this was a drama where there were cops somehow involved there was no way she was going to be locked up in jail for life she would be acquitted for self-defense because look at the numbers; 15 men against two women and a blind guy? I have legal experience I know that would never even reach the courts. It would be tossed out. Plus their motive is to kidnap a girl, these 3 were protecting. Who’s got the stronger case? There you go there’s your logic.

if there were any people on the street and they saw a bunch of thugs running toward a shop of course I would call for help but here’s the thing there wasn’t a single person on the street. There wasn’t a single person in the restaurant. there wasn’t a single person in any of the restaurants. You have to look at this as a supernatural series not a modern regular one where the fees are obviously kept in human form so people don’t know about them. Wherever we have been, it’s always humans under control of fake Lin or no humans at all. You see them driving in cars, of course or when they got into that car accident but other than that, there has been no other humans anywhere. So I look at it from that perspective. Even fake Lin spoke about rules, not being broken so she knows that what they did was not in the I guess fiend code of conduct to attack like that in a huge mass in broad daylight. Hence they got the shock therapy treatment afterwards.

I saw that too when the series first got going.

Someone said the creepy assistant was also human, but ridiculously devoted to fake Lin. I don’t understand where this ridiculous devotion comes from.

Fine kill the two fiends and let the lackeys run away. I don’t understand why they would keep humans around like that, though. But this being a supernatural drama without any cops, and apparently no people around when shit goes down that are not involved in the series. The police is pretty clueless when it comes to these two groups of supernatural type people.

Well, they certainly came to kill didn’t they? Otherwise, why the golf clubs and sharp fan and other weapons that they brought with them? For show and tell? They may have evolved, but they certainly didn’t evolve far enough not to do some kind of nighttime kidnapping attempt instead. Supposedly they see better at night they during the day as well.

Did you see ppl though? Yes it’s a modern drama but it’s a supernatural one so unless they show actual people walking around or being interested in the fight no I don’t think anyone will call the police and for them. They don’t have 911 they have different numbers. You hear, shrieking like the fiends shriek and you don’t do anything. The answer is right in front of you.

Yeah we know that but why didn’t they understand that the whistle thing only pisses the big one off? Like do something to the whistle to change its effects. The hunters are 20 years behind in terms of technology and training and it sucks. How are they going to win?
