I think he want to understand the fiend transformation and all the different part of it and how they all link…
Novel readers point that he strays completely off track and becomes greedy, but supposedly his ending or characters ending is ambiguous. Nobody knows whether he dies becomes a fiend or a ghoul or some other species. I don't think he wanted her to come in especially revealing her identity. He was not happy about that at all. Maybe he expected her to just go along with his mindset but that's not who she is. So far he's been living on excuses with her and she's seen right through them. And there's still a major fight to be had and I hope that he doesn't farm his own people in his need for greed. The fact that he's using people or victims of fiends for his own studies and purposes makes him know less than the fiends themselves.

I believe the dynamics unfolded as follows:》Episode 22 ▪︎09:28 NJL went to Changxi Dumplings to tell LL…
I saw your comment, but it doesn't make quite sense either because where would they follow her from? Also, how would they know who she even was? Unless they know the location of headquarters they wouldn't know where to follow her from. I saw what you wrote, but there was still no clear evidence. It was just a dude in a car took a picture and rolled away and then the next day they all gathered there. Plus, YR was not seen at that location until battle day so how does that make sense exactly?

Ming? But are his motives genuine is the question? Is he doing it to help the hunters or is he doing it because of his own greed? Because he turned that poor victim into what exactly a weapon? Even if his ends somehow are just his means are ruthless. And he's obviously willing to betray anything and anyone to get what he wants as we saw with YT. In his copout apology he never said that he did what he did revealing YT like that because he was jealous, or for any other reason which would've been a much more truthful apology than well I was eager to find the old guy and didn't want to risk the hunters and all that other mumbo-jumbo when in reality, YT was the only reason they even had a solid lead in 20 years. I mean, if it wasn't for YT and his information none of them would've even known that the fees have been in human form for 20 years. They still thought they were fighting those creepy creature things. And their training is 20 years behind as well as their technology. Instead of acknowledging that and saying thank you he betrayed him to fake Lynn and got him traumatized in a mind for a month and prior to that house arrest. So you really have to think for yourself what are the guy's clear motive? And how soon can he be relieved of duty because he's definitely not leadership material.

Yes, seems like a bit of a plot hole. Realstically, Hunters should try to kill every Fiend, if possible. So letting…
For her undying devotion? Pretty creepy.

Maybe they knew they could become food at any time? I really don't understand at all what the point is for having human underlings.

He's sus, I can tell you. Definitely up to no good.
First it’s betrayal due to jealousy and the secret research; now this. Maybe he wants to become a humanized fiend himself. The dude isn’t trustworthy at all.

Why was the scene cut, the one YT pushing the trolley to help NJL in the fight… Yes that scene was in the preview…
Hopefully.

I have absolutely no idea. It seemed so spliced those scenes like we knew what was supposed to happen because we saw it in the previews and then it never happened. Same with the jacket scene.

The other thing that bothered me was that it didn’t seem like blind guy cared whether the victim died or not when he spoke with whip girl later; it seemed like he was almost greedy to get his hands on that mine and more of these fiends. Does he want to create an army or something? Yeah, this guy definitely does not belong as a leader of the anti-fiend movement. He’s just going to get a lot of people killed for his own selfish purposes.

Did they cut some scenes because we were shown either BTS or in little previews of YT helping take that goliath guy in the mine on with some heavy trolley and yet that was not in episode 24 at all. Also, there were pictures by the site of FL putting a jacket over ML as he stood in the sun, and that also was not shown. But yet somehow between him coming out of the mine and being in the car, he’s wearing a jacket with a hood and also they got to him after killing the Goliath guy. So I’m thinking that either we see those episode today or those things in the episodes rather or those scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

Based on the timeline, the last time Yan Tuo stayed overnight at Aluo’s house was during the Gregorian New Year…
Just horrible; broken hearted for him. He didn’t deserve this.

So blind guy used the victim guide as his own killing machine to help them? With training and that meat or goo substance? He def didn’t deserve to have his heart ripped out by Goliath fiend. Blind guy is walking into murky territory.

Novel readers said 2 months, viewers speculated about 10-15 days. I was thinking it was between one and two months.

So, fiend kills cop for getting in the way. Problem solved. NJL wasn’t thinking of cops either when she was fighting to the death with lethal fan guy. As for the running away; the fiends knew they were screwed so fan guy got the XH guy to retreat with the rest of the creeps. They started it and they ran first. Speaks for itself. NJL, YR, and blind guy just stood there.

We actually don’t know what she punished them for; she didn’t say. She just talked about some mumbo-jumbo whomever sees everything and rules must be followed. Mission was to get the girl back and kill whomever but remember you were talking about cops and things so how were they supposed to do that?

Yea.. I was thinking why are they letting them go and report to LXR? AND now, XH knows NJL is Blade.
I noticed in your post you use the word “might” a lot except that she didn’t do any of those things. And when they were finally running away, she and the other two were just standing there. But they came at her and the chick with the whip first, so they are the aggressor that would never hold up in any court of law. If we’re talking about absolutely everybody there being human. Which we know, isn’t the truth. All of your mites fall apart because it didn’t happen “there might be people next-door..” Well, if the viewer doesn’t see them, the viewer doesn’t know about them. So to the viewer, they’re not there. And besides if these Fiends and their lackeys can kill anyone and everyone those cops that you’re talking about, don’t stand a chance guns or no guns.
