As for A Shui, past episode one where she's the bride of some old dude and then sees people get murdered and obviously that's traumatic as well but at this moment, even that has not been explained. How did she end up there? Where is the supposedly burial ground of the father that she was there for? We see previews that she probably lost her memory and that she gets it back somehow, so I think her arc and her trauma is still on the way.
I’m honestly very surprised that no one has brought this up. People have been talking about her possibly going down the wrong path, but no one addressed her trauma. She’s had her head filled with all kinds of lies, but they are her inner most fears basically her inner demons as they like to call them in these dramas. And they’re being exploited now. And if she is the whatever princess all of a sudden she’s gained parents that she’s never known that are not even hers I mean, can you just put yourself in her shoes? We really need to pay attention to what happens with her because I fear that’s a powder keg that’s going to self-destruct and unfortunately not make it in the end. Because people with PTSD unfortunately a lot take their own lives because they can’t handle it and a lot of times not many people help them or want to or know what to do just like in this case so even though these are real life situations, they are happening in this make-believe world and even though TLC and LY and all this other stuff is happening and these people are important. We have to look at other characters too and how they contribute and what has been done to them.
OK, I think I’ve rambled enough. If you guys have any questions in regards to PTSD, please let me know. I am very open about the topic. My own experience with the I guess you can call a disease is like I said not the same as this. Common stereotype is that PTSD is only considered something that happens to people who have seen war and combat and/or have suffered tremendous abuse throughout their lives and that’s actually completely untrue. PTSD can come in many forms like mine which is both harassment and medical trauma. I still do have triggers that I do avoid. But when I see the signs even if it’s a fictional fantasy drama I will point them out. so again don’t feel like you’re encroaching if you have questions.
Really hope the reliable bloggers are right and this drops at the end of the month, looks awesome.
