I agree with u. I binged the first 8 episodes back to back and the first arc was good! At first, I was hesitant…
That’s the whole thing she kicked some butt when technically she’s not supposed to because she doesn’t have the resources or the knowledge and the ML wasn’t given his opportunity. Which I feel so bad because ZLH and all of his interviews said he filmed so many fighting scenes and it was all cut basically just to make room for her and her Hercules overnight insanity with all the law breaking and what not.
You're not alone. I've been complaining too. Anyone who cares for good storytelling is up in arms.
I’ve never read the novel since I’m not a source material reader, but that just sounds horrible. They definitely toned it down, but they still kept her hitting him and what bothers me even more. Is that people in the comment section were cheering for it. I wonder how they do in real life if that was presented in front of them. Or do they really if they are in a relationship abuse, their spouses the same way?
Even so, I liked it. There was finally some Court plot moving along, the puppet Emperor finally has some character…
Jin needs to get his ass kicked. I’m tired of him especially when he’s mouthing off. He really needs to shut up. As for LHA, even though he can look, he’s not gonna say anything.
It does make sense—I mainly watch dramas for the romance, so in that regard I really love this one. That said,…
I actually never go into any drama whether it’s an anticipated one or not with any expectations I expect the drama to persuade me to like it or not like it and if it hooks me in the first few episodes that’s great but giving it high scores is very rare because I’m a very critical person as a writer myself and an author I don’t just go by well. This is cute or this is whatever and I give my score but everybody’s different and that’s understandable. I don’t judge people on the way they decide to give out scores. The only time it annoys me is when people watch like one or two episodes and then Either rated very low and write a very annoying review that says basically nothing because you can’t tell anything from two episodes unless it’s like overly cringe. We will see how this show progresses. I am guessing you’re probably going to give it a 10 and that’s your choice. I don’t know what I’m going to give it but I guess we will see.
Heard Rui won't be shooting from 25-29. Don't know if this is only for him or for everyone.
Yeah, fans will definitely get pictures. I really wish he had normal working hours and then could get some rest, but it seems that as soon as he starts working on a series, they have to try to squeeze in a variety show or some stupid appearances or something.

I didn't read the novel either. I'm not a source material reader, but people that read the novel did say that she wasn't super powered, but had immense strength and the whole battlefield thing was her deal. I don't know why I don't know how and I don't know how it was written, but supposedly the writing in the book made more sense than whatever the hell we saw on screen.
Other than crappy subs or no subs at all, we don't know because we prefer to watch on legal platforms to support…
The thing is is that even with this whole entire mess all the actors and crew and everything else they got paid ahead of time so they are not losing money on this unless they're executive producers or something. As for the director it seems to me that he was hands-on through the entire series But when it came to the writing, I really don't know where that went wrong or south whichever you want.
I completely agree with you. I liked this drama at first. I really enjoyed the Lin'An slice of life story arc…
I have heard others mention move on. I've actually never seen the animated series. But from what I understood from novel readers that a deviated at least 30% from the book character wise none necessarily the FL will may be in some cases, but altogether characters definitely.

All my novels are online; not yet published but they have 10s of thousands if not over 210K readers for one, so I must be doing something right lol. I just can't with a clear conscience, knowing how writing actually goes and the fact that I do have experience in writing scripts and editing them for friends that have written scripts and one that's actually being turned into a film in America right now it's slightly stalled due to fundraising and what not but Having that knowledge and then seeing when it's absolutely destroyed when it didn't have to is painful to watch and seeing that that's what you studied yeah it's basically from words to film to creating something from 2-D to 3-D and making it believable.

I don't think time was the issue. They filmed the series either for four months or five months. I don't remember, but I think that the writing is really crappy and the fact that they deviated so heavily away from the book because they wanted to take creative direction and that is not always a good thing. If the book was so popular that a series was to be created then it's smarter to stick to the book then just avoid it and write senseless crap. The FL was believable up until a point. I mean she literally should've just stayed in that rock quarry and she would've been eventually found by The ML and everything would've been explained instead she decided to go and get supernatural powers that didn't exist in this series. I think I said in either the original post or in some other post that had this been a series with fantasy or supernatural abilities it would've been understandable but when you Create a character, and then all of a sudden you give this character all of this stuff that she has to do because she somehow able to do it with no formal training no consequences and allowed to go after and kill the biggest enemy warriors on the planet. It's just too much and too ridiculous and too unbelievable. Every plot has to be able to conform to a certain set of rules based on the genre of whatever the plot is in. They took a female, supposedly centric novel and just went completely overboard with it. The second arc I think was totally ruined instead of showing the MLS pros because this is his niche. This is where he's supposed to show and deliver everything all his decades or decade whatever of training All the supposedly legendary fighting. He wouldn't be a marquee if he didn't know what he was doing, but they cut his fighting scenes and there were a lot of them from his own interviews to like five minutes and episode when there was a fighting scene. So the only hope left is this third arc and last one. Also, I was not fond of FL mini Amber heard with her first yelling then coaxing or first slapping just because she was angry and then later on saying well, I didn't blame you. She is not living his life. She's got no idea of the burden he carries on his shoulders. It's all common sense, even without the background.

DK nailed it and his fame skyrocketed to such a degree he couldn't even normally go into an airport bathroom to pee; nuts. Didn't watch Star Wars but if it's similar than I understand. Xena was a warlord because she was a seasoned warrior; this chick goes to the battlefield field like it's a picnic and they allow her to kill major players plus her inexperience got her friend killed and XW wounded. But no she's celebrated as a goddess. If she also gets a Marquis title, I'll throw hands; the writers aren't even trying. Botched a good show. Let's see if the final arc can save it somewhat though a lot of the damage has already happened.

I'm not sure they even got a chance to edit them before the leak happened. Can't say, don't know but IQIY did the outsourcing. Mistake started with them. I've noticed these last episodes were a bit choppy but didn't know why until I found about the leak.
