10s are very rare fore me. I've rated only 6 costume and 2 moderns with that score. I knew this wasn't going to be a usual romance; I watched solely for ZLH but DK impressed me a lot. I'm not a fan of TXW, I've seen just a handful of roles and usually she's got that 12 year old cutesy thing going which no thanks; though she managed a few without. But here after reading that she was going to take an out of the box role intrigued me. Had I known they were going to turn this in Xena Warrior princess meets Wonder Woman meets Joan of arc or "Legend of the female general" sans any actual military experience but without skills or much character development.....maybe.....I don't know. I really thought this was going to be liked Fated Hearts where both FL and ML were a unit; both equally lethal from the get go. Having each others backs as equals not one stealing the thunder while the other becomes a shadow of his former self; a big waste of an important arc. Last arc will determine what happens in this case.

I complain because I'm a novelist/author myself and know strong from weak or just over the top nonsensical writing. FL's overnight transformation plus no punishment for her breaking military law and physically abusing the man she supposedly loves is nuts. The writer had to have taken some drugs. We're almost done and it's unfathomable to me this entire thing. So much wasted potential and for what?

I've been told it's a heavy deviation from the novel. Yeah the actor playing the emperor is usually a goof or a eunuch; so seeing him in that role......like yuck.

I have this feeling and I may be in the minority but so far first arc is the strongest, military arc just pissed off half of the comment section myself included except for DK's exceptional job and the little shit that wouldn't die until he self decapitated which I've never seen in any drama; maybe a huge can of 🪳 RAID would have worked.. Now we're slowly moving into the last and truth revealing and sabotaging scheming rebellion arc....I hope it strengthens ML again from Goddess of war's pooch to the Marquis that he is. The writing has been weak and unstable a lot. Even a fictional character has to be written in a way ppl can understand and believe. Had this been a Xianxia or fantasy supernatural something or other, than it would've been understandable but other than surviving cliff diving, everything else was standard historical and too unbelievable to the point of ridiculous. My rating started at 9 but has been falling; won't know till the end and without a review unless I just write out my frustrations, doubt y'all will find that interesting lol. I guess when you don't sleep all night you ramble. Not sure any of this made sense to y'all.

We know they should have never outsourced the last 10 episodes to an external party instead of doing it in house like they did for the first 30 episodes. It was their big mistake, but why should audiences suffer and not get express and finish this drama instead of dragging it one episode at a time until the 30th. I mean, we know we're going to get express but Usually it's a few hours before they tell us or a day or two before some dramas even tell you when they release the schedule which is pretty seldom, but it's cool if they do.

Yeah, it seemed like she was talking to them like she would talk to the people in her village. I guess they were trying to go for comedy and it didn't quite work. No mind I haven't seen this yet but from the clips it really does seem like she couldn't give two shits that she was before the emperor in this big hall and as usual, she gets away without any reprimanding from anybody. She came across a little arrogant from the clip that I saw anyways maybe that's not how it's going to look when I watch it but from that clip or the preview that's what it looked like.

I saw a clip where she made that old fart Li's carriage fall apart. I thought that was kind of funny. He is a villain after all, so it was good for him to land on his ass for a change.

Honestly, I don't know how that bodyguard didn't push those people away like had it been me all those phones would've been thrown across the airport and let all those crazy people go run after them. Like I'm not a violent person, but if you invade my privacy and I ask you to stop and you don't at that point all bets are off.
