I don’t like third wheels I think it’s so unnecessary and annoying to just be like well. I have feelings for you so you have to be with me. If there’s two of them in this one, it’s gonna be pretty hard. I understand what you wrote see if it was explained or shown like that on screen I would’ve understood a lot better. Plus, it seems that wherever ML is from and the demon world that fell is from There’s some kind of hatred or something between them so whatever started as friendship between the ML and the FL is now shaky because the FL obviously believes that he’s part of that palace place. But according to the synopsis, what he actually does is supposed to help her With that heavenly fire or that bone or whatever it is, I guess seal it or something so I don’t know how that works. I guess we will have to find out as the thing moves along. I finished episode seven and I kind of wonder whether the first third wheel will actually Take that old rat farts advice and join him in evil so he could get the FL to be with him physically without her consent, which is of course horrible. I really hope they don’t go that route, but I could totally see it happening.

I didn’t I didn’t expect romance from the get-go with these two I just expected. I guess a slower and more cohesive storyline that’s all I get. There’s a lot of floating parts but they’re coming at you at the speed of sound and you just don’t have time to cash them you get it that the ML is an orphan from 18 years ago so I don’t know what age he is now Something happened with some demonic infant and some bone and some piece of wood and she somehow also connected to this thing 18 years ago, nobody knows and then there’s all these random demons and humans and it just needs to be slowed down. That’s all that’s all I’m saying. Whether people agree or not that’s totally cool. It’s my opinion. I’m sticking into it.

Greek gods and mythology I knew very well growing up. I read so much about it and watched so many documentaries and shows and what not but they explained it very well here it’s just thrown together like Legos in a box. I just think that if they had put the pieces together, obviously evil just like good isn’t black-and-white if they had put the Lego pieces at least a little together and slowed it down. It would’ve been a lot better.

Yes, that’s exactly it whatever that bone fragment is I guess is the main piece that has to do with some infant and something else I can’t catch the names. They’re going too fast for me but 18 years ago something happened so focusing on 18 years ago something happened whether it’s 18 years ago he became an orphan 18 years ago. She became an orphan or they both became orphans Though it seems like she’s got a royal family so not really sure how her backstory goes 18 years ago. But you got a bone some demonic infant that is connected to the bone. They have to find the bone and some kind of piece of wood and that is somehow related to whatever happened 18 years ago, so those are the only things that I guess I would call a trajectory a path line but then you’ve got rat demons you’ve got other kinds of demons. You’ve got them not knowing each other’s powers and I do agree that once they know how the other works are has whatever power and is whatever they are that then they will Have a smoother connection. But in episode six we revealed the third wheel who’s got the feelings for FL which I’m guessing she’s going to say it she treats him like a brother. Whether or not he’s going to make a stink out of it and try to get rid of the ML or turn evil or whatever the hell his deal is nobody knows we’ve got all these other people with all these other sub plots, but it’s coming so fast That personally my brain can’t handle how fast this is going and how many at once it just needs to be slower; people have to understand this is my opinion.

Oh, I totally get that. I’m just saying there should be a clear trajectory of a storyline. Yes hence have been dropped all over the place but if you don’t have tha are going to be forgotten and then when it’s time to reveal them, you’re going to go oh but they were never shown when they were obviously shown you know what I mean?

Obviously, I don’t expect all the answers. I’m just expecting at least a beginning of a storyline. Every single series has to have a beginning storyline like something happened. Something brought XYZ together right but I’m on episode six right now and only now do I feel that she’s not using him for her own whatever purposes. But Even though they’re the same kind of people personality wise even though she’s more talkative and he’s more quiet for now. It’s very hard to discern with her character when she’s being genuine with him and when she’s using him for catching demon ABC. It’s that beginning of a storyline that I think is missing because as I’m watching it it’s like he’s trying to find out about his past whatever the heck it is she sort of knows about her past and then they have all these demons and things that they have to figure out and find and catch somewhere good somewhere bad whatever my whole thing is, they have to really put things in a little bit of an order so you understand stuff not just throw everything at you and be like hey have fun watching figure it out whenever and however you want. A storyline needs to have a trajectory a path even if it has sub plots there should still be this path and this right now is not happening for me. I love all of the creativity and the CGI and all of the magic and the supernatural the cinematography I love all that stuff it’s great but I need that storyline trajectory. And I’m just not getting that yet. It’s not going to stop me from watching the show. I’m enjoying all the hocus-pocus abracadabra and I think we’re going to have a third wheel in here, but Maybe slow it down a little bit.

I don’t think they’re going to. We don’t have enough episodes. They’re just going to show her as a spoiled, whining brat that has thoughts of grandeur way beyond her actual standing.

Just realized it took me three days to put one review together and today we are finishing this series and I will have to figure out how to put yet another review together. My brain has to do extra work this week lol.

Oh no that part is fine. It’s like watching on regular platforms the boot legging but I’m just not sure about the storyline like where are we going with this? What’s this bone that they’re trying to find what does it have to do with anything? The cinematography is great yes thankfully no bright colors. Is there evil somewhere who is evil? We haven’t met evil. There’s some secret from 18 years ago and both ML NFL suffered, but we don’t know anything. They really didn’t give us much of a backstory. The two of them are connected somehow from whatever happened 18 years ago I hope as the story progresses they give us more of a storyline because right now it’s like run run run solved. Try help do but what and make it cohesive. All the extra stuff great. But if there’s very little storyline, it’s hard to bring everything else together. Sort of like immortal ascension, but that unfortunately had 10 episodes cut from it so obviously that did what it did, but I just want to have a storyline where like she is being honest because I feel every single time she talks to him she’s like sarcastic and not honest and playing games and I want her to be honest with him Because he is 100% like stick straight honest. He obviously doesn’t share his supernatural magical talisman whatever stuff with her and she hasn’t told him she’s cat lady demon but there’s got to be cohesiveness in a story right now there’s like parties like people and revenge and all this other stuff and it’s like can you guys just focus on like one thing Bring together a case if that’s the case and then go from there you know what I mean? Maybe as a novelist I’m just whatever but those are my thoughts.

I don’t think it’s going to hit that high. There’s been a lot of dramas that have basically run over their maximum heat index is so we will see how this one does since it’s on Tencent and IQ in several regions if it passes its high heat index is or not.

There’s obviously zero possibility for him to return because number one he had that beef with that other actor and they were going back-and-forth and he was doing live streams and just totally wigging out on them and now there’s this drunk rampage where he vandalize his private property he’s got to pay a fine and he goes to prison for six months so you know a scandal that large absolutely no hope of his return, but you have to understand that he chose his own path and he could’ve stopped at any time but he didn’t and now he’s got to reap what he sows basically.

I think it’s getting there slowly I mean it did just premiere plus there’s other dramas dropping left and right so I don’t know and there’s the fact that I don’t pay attention to any of the data. You would have to ask the mainland folks. You can watch this on a bootleg website, but otherwise they’re not going to unlock it regionally.

Don’t forget TBOY. You know I gotta give him props for trying, but he can’t do this again stick to the good roles. Thankfully, I looked at his upcoming series and he’s got a few where he plays his father from the blood of youth universe so there are two of those coming up And something else where I hope it’s another protagonist role, but this was an experiment that he tried and unfortunately failed.

Basically, he screwed himself over so now he has to pay his dues and find another career because they obviously canceled him.

Not really because it only matters if mainland viewers watch it and buy subscriptions to the platforms. We international viewers aren’t as important.

I don’t know about you guys, but the editing seems choppy like it’s all over the place. I don’t really understand the dynamic between ML and FL and I’m on episode five of the bootlegging adventure.
