It’s a good episode. That’s all I’m going to tell you since you’re so far back.

I can’t say that I like it amazingly I just like it and I’m not a source material reader so I’m in that crowd of people. I wanted to see the combination of the two lead actors really more than the actual story which I still thought was good. I saw CL for the first time in MJTY, which I believe was also his debut possibly I could be wrong on that and he nailed his character there. I’ve only seen her in maybe one or two series and she was very cute. Had maybe three lines to the entire thing I wanted to see her portray this female general And so far she’s been kicking some serious butt. I want to see her face off against her brother well, not the actress I mean the character. I do one thing, though I never go into any series regardless of how much I anticipate them because I follow as their filming or whatever it may be With any expectations forget high ones just because then if the story is disappointing, I’m not let down because it was a possibility and if the story is amazing then I’m happy because it’s an amazing story. So that’s my suggestion to everyone do not go into any of these dramas with any expectations. Just go into watch; that’s it.

Geez, that's right. I didn't even realize or remember that he's also in this one lol. All I'm saying he better not play the third wheel again. Give him his own love line and keep him away from her lol.

Last few days on set have been scorching hot. I have no idea how they’re able to wearing so many layers of wardrobe plus the wigs. I hope most of what they’re filming is indoors with some AC.

We are hoping that as it gets closer to either finishing filming or going into review or something and other platform will pick it up. That’s the Hope.

They could’ve just split it into two parts. Yes we would’ve had to wait a year for part two but at least they could’ve gotten more episodes in and done it right where characters and storylines were fleshed out. Otherwise you have 36, I think it is episodes and you have characters and Conspiracies and other things that are not explained at all or very little. Even the villains you’re like OK you’re bad you kill people but what exactly are you trying to do?? Are you trying to overthrow the emperor or are you trying to be the best though corrupt general or are you trying to seize control of the court like what is happening? That is what is unfortunately missing here.

Give me a good battle scene any day of the week. You can throw away all of the conspiracies in the palace politics and all that other garbage just give me a few really good battles or martial arts fights or something of that matter. That battle in episode 26 was gold. I loved everything about it. I loved it how they choreographed it, how they almost defy gravity in a sense, but you could still tell that it was skill and not some kind of hocus-pocus fantasy something.

He did great there I agree. He can do good roles as a protagonist as well as I saw him in sword and fairy number four and I really loved his character there. I’m sure he probably would’ve done a great job here. It’s just the FL and everything surrounding that whole beginning storyline just felt completely flat to me. I hope he doesn’t accidentally type cast himself in these roles.

OK, hell or high water or Moses on an arc but review has to be written today/tomorrow. No more waiting Lord willing my brain will cooperate. I already have a title for it short and sweet and I'm going to do my absolute best to keep it under the 10,000 word limit that MDL now is having all reviewers unfortunately do.

I actually dropped it halfway through episode one unfortunately. Yeah it's dated and though I like the ML and the reason I'm watching is because I wanted to see him in another role but it seems that he's basically playing the same role, I saw him in originally. I mean, like the same type of character and characteristics. I couldn't deal with like the FL and the 12-year-old voice and the storyline was just not catching me even so soon in so I hope other people enjoy it, but I'm out.

Basically, I'm going to see how it goes with the bootleg if all outs fails and if I like the series, then I will see how it goes because I usually rarely bootleg unless something is up. I hope the show is good because it seems to have a very interesting premise and trailer and stuff. Besides, nothing else is dropping anytime soon from my watchlist so other than this, I will not have anything else to watch in this part of the world anyways.

We see a lot of flashbacks to their school years, but we don't really get any substance with that. Like what's the storyline? I know I didn't miss it because I've been watching it from the beginning. If they're going to bring these characters in, they need to have a background not just "oh hey buddy from school that I haven't seen in 20 years." It's just not well written and thought through on the part of the screenwriter.
