I’m in the states as well. It always fascinates me when all of a sudden you find out that so and so is American born.

I’m not a fan of his dad even when that changes later on but his father one eye or two eyes or whatever his deal is I just don’t like those types of vain obnoxious only for promotion type of people either.

I think someone in the comments did say well look he’s already got an eyepatch. The only thing he needs is a parrot. Yeah it is like father like son, but I guess the only thing they were missing was Jack sparrow.

🤣🤣🤣. When that person called it Revlon later on we were trying to guess which brand he was using next because like the purple shade of lipstick changed so it was just a funny thing. I don’t really know why the stylist decided to give him braids and feathers and like all this other stuff when I first saw the whole get up, I was like heat belongs in like the desert or like in the Grasslands in a tribe not as a detective in the capital. In any case, it just makes things much more fun.

Unfortunately my health will never get better as I have way too many things wrong with me, but I just have to make sure that my brain is functioning properly and maybe today isn’t that day waking up with a migraine definitely not the way I wanted to start today but hopefully tomorrow so and then there’s that whole new MDL rules where reviews have to be 10,000 characters or less so have to also be mindful of that. I usually write my reviews in notes on my iPad and then just transfer it over to here. ♥️

C-Netz don’t like anyone that’s not their person. I couldn’t care less who they don’t like. But that’s pretty cool to know new information. There’s quite a few of them that were born in the states that are either boy bands or actors like Victor Ma and what’s his face oh dear Lord, I have to type it out cause I’m doing talk to text; Daniel Zhou aka Zhou Ke Yu. Henry Lau is Canadian. There were a few others, but I forgot their names. They’re either a Canadian or American. I’m not sure which.

It’ll change in the later episode. It’s going to turn purple and so does his lipstick which is really funny. Someone called that Revlon something or other in the comments had us all cracking up. In blood of youth, it was just like red and then red and brown, but it didn’t have anything else. It didn’t have feathers and braids and things.

I’m exactly the same. I like the fact that we have two couples, but that’s where it ends. Not every single show needs to have in it. And that’s why I feel that the rating here on MDL even though this is a fan site and it doesn’t matter took a hit because a lot of international people apparently only like romance something or other shows. But truth of the matter is is that there’s a lot of people that don’t want romance and every single drama they watch they want substance and romance isn’t always substance. They want their brain teasers, crime thriller, gritty whatever. And this is my point of view. I am not judging anyone else else’s. This is my point of view only romance though sometimes good to watch and great on the brain especially if you want something easy honestly is boring. I’m an author/novelist and even when I write romance into my books, they’re not revolving around romance. There are other plots. There are stronger plots, sometimes very heavy plots, and some books don’t have any romance at all and do just fine. In this series, I like the way it went. I like the way that you knew who the couples were and that was it. Everything else took precedence and that was the important thing.

It’s actually not the first time that I’ve seen him so flamboyantly dressed the very first time I saw the actor in anything was in the blood of youth, and he had some red and brown and something else, but he didn’t have feathers and he didn’t have braids. There’s a moment in the series I don’t remember where it is somewhere in the beginning Where the FL actually calls him out because he knows the color or smell of a type of rouge or something I think it was made into a meme, but unfortunately the comment section doesn’t allow for pictures, but it was really funny like she legit calls them out for it And he says something along the lines of I’m just going to paraphrase of like don’t hate appreciate type of thing. It’s funny but it actually in a way fits his really weird character perfectly not the clever, smart detective but like the rest of it. He’s got a fan and he’s got the braids dude is just seriously like Trippin on something it’s really funny.

I was a few days old when I found out that the FL was born in the US and her name is Julia. Anyone else just learned that?

This doesn’t have to be a spoiler you’re just talking about the actor. But completely agreed I think I have seen him in maybe one other thing as a Support or a guest role but he’s young and be able to do that is pretty awesome. The director or whoever found him and decided to cast him did a good job. I hope he gets more good roles as to the rest of them as they all did a very good job.

🤣🤣🤣 there’s a reason the netizens on Weibo called him Peacock when the show first started airing and it came to this side of things the nickname caught on and we started calling him that here too but boy oh boy did they make him flamboyant and I’ve seen this actor in other shows and I have never seen him done up like this, but now the character definitely has a brain and he’s incredibly clever and as the show progresses, you will see that cleverness come out more regardless of the lipstick choices or costumes or whatever.

I agree in regards to the spoiler tag, but some people either don’t think what they wrote is a spoiler (or care) or they’re like me, don’t realize it until after the fact. So you have to give a little inch for those of us who are human, but the reminder to put spoiler tags up, is a good thing to post. For both sets of humans. 🙏🏻
