I’ve seen some pretty interesting translations over the years I’ve watched dramas, but this is definitely one of the funniest.

We have seen a lot of good dramas, but I don’t call anything a masterpiece. I think maybe one, but that was something like five years ago.

So I was thinking of different names since we’re going to have two episodes with three homicides so at first I thought “Death at the Opera”; then we have the other two so I came up with two other names or titles rather “Death of a Lover” or “They Knew Too Much.” What do you think? This is case #4 out of 8.

Yeah, I understood that from your actual translation of the thing. But our ML boy oh boy, he will literally bulldoze over anyone who harms the FLB with words or actions. I hope he uses that bulldozer over that fake creepy cousin of who thinks he can use her for his own benefit when in reality, she’s not even blood related to him, but just borrowed the name. I’m kind of getting tired of him already. There’s gonna be enough scheming in the palace when they get to the capital once I don’t know how many more cases will be solved that we really do not need that loser. It’s time for her to say goodbye to that family and move them along.

We have seen that before. Where Royal males pretend to be goofy and Playboy and completely irrelevant to whatever it is that’s going on, but yet behind the scenes are tough as nails, ready to go have their own schemes and plans and know who their supporters are and who they support in return.

Thankfully, you guys helped with the translations. I wish that the subbers took more of that into consideration because I was watching that and just dying of laughter. One moment he said he’s going to treat her like Buddha and the next moment he’s saying that she can ride him like a horse and I’m like just dying of laughter. And it had to be lost in serious translation, but still just watching it that way you can’t help but crack up.

I think it’s people who know the language and understand it that it may come off as wishy-washy or what not but for those of us who do not understand the language other than this little faux paw that they had it seems normal. I will take even rated our language any day of the week over AI or machine translated subs, which are so horrible. It hurts your head. But I can understand that some nuances may be lost in translation and that’s sadly not just with Mandarin but with a lot of Languages when you start to translate them into other languages, be an English or something else.

Well, someone up top translated it and it was less provocative but still gave you the sense of oh brother what are these two talking about SML is such a small kid like he’s very young so to say such an adult rated thing is just unfathomably funny.

Let them both get over the I hate him/her curve first maybe when they start helping the leads investigate the funky monkey cases they will get over that portion.

Not as bad as the platform ones, but that still is kind of in the rated R section of town. Using me as a steed yeah no lol. Honestly I’m just going to leave it the way it was on the platform just because it’s way more funny.
