P.S. Providing faulty scuba equipment is against the law on the international level. I was wondering why that guy found a tin can under water and then threw it away again. Because scuba divers all clean up the oceans no matter where we dive; so it was very odd behavior, and then when ML was trying to reach him when he realized what was happening, the diver started to swim away faster because he thought there was something bad behind him, and I saw the gage on his BCD, which read completely empty of air and that’s when I realized he was suffering from hypoxia, which is basically when you start to hallucinate and pass out underwater before you essentially drown. When the ML pulled that first dude out of the water into the boat, his underling said there’s something wrong with his oxygen tank and at the end of 13 there’s already another person out of air and unconscious underwater. So what the hell kind of test is that? Because the country having the competition is in charge of providing the oxygen tanks those are not being flown on those helicopters with each country’s soldiers. They only have their BCD’s, weight belts, and weights, wet suits and everything that entails in that, regulators, fins, and masks. That’s a lot of shit to carry as is. No one is bringing massive 30+ pound oxygen tanks without air to be filled at whichever location.
And again our ML is playing rescue diver without giving his spare reg to an unconscious diver underwater but his own as he holds his breath. Does his BCD not come with a spare like it is supposed to? Lord why? You are not making the Chinese navy look very smart! 🤦🏻♀️Maybe they should leave the scuba diving to some other portion of the naval services who actually know what the hell they’re doing. Not once have any of these divers checked their gages to see how much air they have when divers are supposed to do it every five minutes or so. At most divers who can slow down their breathing well can stay underwater on oxygen, maybe 45 minutes max.
And I distinctly saw two hoses on these BCDs; that means they have two regulators and still I don’t know why unused. Now ML is in trouble because he’s done the wrong thing obviously. If you’re going to leave your own gear behind, helping your fellow diver then you should have a little spare bottle of oxygen with you connected to you if you’re a dive master or on the level of these guys supposedly for real emergencies, but not here as we see in the beginning of episode 14. Now his people gotta save him. Instead of doing whatever they’re supposed to be doing underwater they’re just playing rescue diver with the wrong methods.
Wow, that’s serious level bullshit right there. So they took air out of the oxygen tanks, but kept the gages at normal level, but did not tell the divers. They could’ve killed people and that would’ve been what fun? That was a test but a surprise test. No fucking way would that be allowed anywhere on earth. You do not put divers in trouble like that to cause death or serious brain injuries, or anything of that nature; these are not robots these are humans. Again, China came up with some next level bullshit and didn’t even come out smart because of how they use their diving equipment. Do some research folks when you film a drama. I just can’t. I can’t. The amount of oxygen in our tanks; we have to learn about it, we have to read about it when we first get certified (even before if you dive like I did for several decades before getting certified. I did a starting course type thing each time I went on vacation, but I was always, always taught about how important it was to read my depth and air gages at all times and provide the numbers of how much air I had to my dive master when asked every how many ever minutes without fail); that is drilled into us and to do what they did here? Absolutely absurd. And I’m not even in the damn military. ML and SML “will soon recover from hearing loss due to drowning after some rest and recuperation.” What happened to the two unconscious divers? Nobody cares because they are from different countries. No updates from the dictator-looking announcer whose lip movements do not match what is being said on screen. But I hope the scuba crap portion is over. Our boys have to recover from hearing loss and Lord knows what else and then go search for their respective wife and soon to be girlfriend lost in some Amazon sized forest and separated to boot with wolves that shouldn’t be around in tropical environments and look like dogs 🤣🤦🏻♀️. Can’t make this shit up; can’t make this shit up. 🤦🏻♀️
I certainly hope that the medical issue she goes through will evolve her into a mature woman.
I’m very glad the whistleblower guy sensed something was off about the third wheel when he contacted him and lied about the FL giving him permission to investigate from then on out. Now he’s starting to look a little more suspicious to me other than just the rich guy who likes her. Before I thought he might not know what his family’s business does, but now I’m wondering whether there’s something more to it and the FL was right to be more suspicious about him.
Looks like there will be some trouble with the second couple and a blackmailing company or people. I’m glad we get our smart journalist back; glad she got them out of that predicament and used smarts to do it, even though the military was ready to take some other action apparently. Though she wants to go abroad to Lord knows where to investigate some other shipwrecks and I’m guessing that’s the exact same location the ML is going for his next mission. I think when she goes abroad, it’s best that he accompany her with a slew of naval ships in the future; safer lol.
