Got some military propaganda in there against the US as usual. I actually looked up the incident and it did happen, but there are two sides to these stories apparently as China never takes responsibility if they are being the aggressor and blame every other country that they are not allies with. One side says they were taken out and the other side says that their side was just defending from an aggressor. In any case, that’s typical in these types of dramas; so while annoying, I don’t pay attention to it. (I had to fast forward a little bit of episode 13 because I was not part of that brigade and I did not need the full spiel of every place they visited and what it meant. I did not pay to go to the museum. I’m watching a drama. Let’s keep it that way; this is not a documentary.)
Of course they’re going to go to an international competition with countries of apparently the third world, and they are going to win all the medals because that’s what they do as a big superpower, because that’s somehow fair and makes sense in the twilight zone. Because I guarantee if they had gone to a competition against other superpowers, they probably wouldn’t have won as many, if at all. Especially if they used the same scuba diving shooting skills 😆. P.S. Mandarin being a global language is only true on the moon. A lot of schools may want students to learn it, but that does not equate to it being a global language. There’s a singular global language and that’s English.
Wolves definitely do not exist in tropical forests and that wolf looked like a dog. 🤣Wolves do not look like that and neither do coyotes. I live in an area where we have both and hybrids of the two actually which are just plain scary.
And can I ask what in Sam Hill are these two doing going into a forest in a foreign country like they’re professional hikers? I guess that was the princess’ idea. Chick can’t make scrambled eggs, but she is going to lead her usually smart best friend into a completely foreign location with no guide, or possibility of a signal or rescue if it hadn’t been for the very observant attendant at the hotel that noticed that they were missing. Help me out here with the logic, please…..somebody? Anybody? 🤦🏻♀️ ML will always save FL, that’s how these dramas work and plus since he’s already there that’s going to be his job because they are citizens of his country. Completely understandable given that he’s the lead soldier. So some of that, I can understand, but the whole getting into that forest is beyond me. Like if any of my friends that I have ever traveled with suggested that, I would look at them like they had two heads and tell them to go back to sleep and prevent them from drinking alcohol for the rest of the trip.
