I think they hired real divers for this scene so they didn't have to act.
That’s exactly what I said. How can Marines that forget basic training. These are some kind of elite special ops people can’t put on scuba diving gear properly. Just slow it down. It’s not you know rocket science. This show is actually not bad it has some comedic moments, but do you remember it was filmed five years ago. The gambit drama I am going to be skipping a lot of episodes so the next week I probably won’t watch because I just watched the preview and it’s enough for me the dream drama I will continue to watch though.
Love him because his phenomenal acting skills always overcome any horrible script. Can't stand her. (She lost…
While I don’t hate MZY like all of you do this show has fallen off some cliff and I don’t think it’s going to survive unless they do something magical in the next 10 episodes.
After episode 18, I am either gonna put this drama on hold until they get smarter because it’s just ridiculous or just skip episodes altogether. And now they are turning that first wife into a villain I mean it’s just there’s no words there’s so much going on and you’ve got two smart people who supposedly care about each other that just don’t talk. Where did the writing fall apart? This thing is 36 episodes. We are at the halfway point I don’t know what’s going to happen.
Thanks for the insights on diving. For Chinese dramas, most of the water scenes are usually filmed in some swimming…
You’re welcome. As a diver, it irks me like nothing else. Especially since this is obviously a slightly propaganda show they’re supposed to show stuff that is accurate and even if they’re training and their confidentiality, and all that other mumbo-jumbo is supposedly accurate, something as simple as this and you call yourself a marine just does not make any sense and therefore I will call it out. Scuba divers are particular when our sport is taken out of context and made it seem like it’s so simple. It’s actually not simple. It may be simple to just learn the first time or something but when you have to get certified and doing all that stuff and putting all that gear on, that’s at least 30 pounds of gear a lot of people like myself can’t carry that so we need help with it so to see him put on a backpack, shoot himself overboard and then two seconds later be completely geared up is just pathetic for a captain of a brigade of marines. So I’m glad that later they showed how to properly put on equipment.

I think so too because that was so cringe to me. Here they're trying to show you marines that can't put on their dive gear properly. Who's going to believe that plus the editing is choppy in general, but the show seems good since it has bad guys and stuff, so I'm just glad that at least somewhere the scuba diving was shown the way it was supposed to be.
I’m three episodes behind on this one too. It just doesn’t have that one thing to pull me in and make me obsessed.…
I never compare dramas, but I really honestly don’t even feel the chemistry between the leads and I’m already on episode. Lord knows we’re coming up on 20. Maybe it’ll come toward the end but I think these two leads were not well matched here. Both are great actors. I have nothing bad to say about either, but it doesn’t fit. They’re doing a great job in general acting their parts, but I feel that they were maybe both missed cast or at least the FL was miscast and I love her. She’s a great actress. It seems that he’s more showing of emotions and everything and even though they’ve both been through hell it’s not connecting. I’m going to continue to watch this and I’m going to skip around. I don’t think this is going to get a high score for me unless the ending is amazing.
