Many Chinese dramas especially costume dramas were adapted from Chinese popular novels because popular novels usually have many fanbase so they could attract many audiences to gain profit and one of popular theme for these novels are time travel/rebirth/soul transmigration.
Another rule is the maximum episodes for one drama is only 40 episodes and the duration for each episode of the drama is only 45 minutes. If I'm not mistaken, this rule started on almost the end of year 2021.
But they are kinda lenient for duration of the drama rule so you can find many dramas usually could have 46 until 48 minutes, sometimes even reached until almost one hour for one episode, well, unless if there's people report about almost one hour duration to the authority so the drama will get cut down back to 45 until 48 minutes.
If they want to produce drama with more than 40 episodes, they need to separate the drama to two seasons and wait about one year after first season finished on air to get the second season on air.
But it is rare for Chinese dramas to have more than 40 episodes nowadays because when you separated the dramas to two seasons & since the dramas usually adapted from novels, they already get spoiled about the storyline from the novel so often the audiences anticipation for the second season declined because they need to wait for one year for the second season. And when the anticipation declined, they gain less profit.
I hope the romance is as great as The Double, or The Story of Kunning Palace. I know it's not the same story lines…

I know some people especially new watcher of Chinese dramas from international audience asking why didn't they cast Victor Ma in Hidden Love as main lead in First Frost but many Chinese & international audiences that read the novel & already watch Bai Jing Ting's dramas are satisfied with Bai Jing Ting as main actor in First Frost because he is a talented actor & they believe he can play as main male lead, Sang Yan excellently.
But yes, the main casts especially the main actor in Rebirth Of The Malicious Empress Of Military Lineage will surely get bash because according to the Chinese & international novel reader the main male lead, Xie Jing Xing is too dashing & the author keep emphasized how handsome he is LOL.

The native title for the drama Story Of Kunning Palace is 宁安如梦. So you copy paste the native title, 宁安如梦 with name of website on google search.

Sometimes, there no updated info about voiced by who on dramawiki, but when you check on Baidu, Baike using google translation, there's info about it.

This drama was filmed in 2023 but I read on X that about a week before the drama's ending on air, Youku dicussed with main actor, Wang Xing Yue about the ending.
The Double become unexpected hit during on air despite both main casts, Wang Xing Yue & Wu Jin Yan are not traffic actor/actress yet before this so Youku milked this drama to gain more profit by changing the schedule for the airing time so the fans need to pay more to watch the episodes early. I think Youku scared the fans will scold them about the ambiguous ending of this drama so they try to give a more clear ending for this drama.
At first Youku asked Wang Xing Yue to do voice record for the narrative for ending but then Wang Xing Yue discussed with the drama director & producer so they filmed the extra episode for the drama.

But since these websites are updated by peoples, fans, you need to wait for some time like months after dramas finished airing before to know the info.
Sometimes, there no updated info about voiced by who on dramawiki, but when you check on Baidu, Baike using google translation, there's info about it.
It also based on popularity and what year that drama on air because well, we get all that from fans, right. If that drama is popular you might got more info about it on Baidu, Baike, dramawiki. If that drama was aired recently, the info about voiced by who will be more complete than older dramas that aired on year 2018/2019/2020 that why I posted "This is the result from my search so if I'm incorrect, anyone please feel free to correct me." on my comment above.
For recent Chinese dramas especially the popular dramas, you could asked about voiced by who (dub) on that drama page on mydramalist because many peoples who know Chinese language or from China themselves will reply to your question.
This drama was filmed in 2023 but I read on X that about a week before the drama's ending on air, Youku dicussed with main actor, Wang Xing Yue about the ending.
The Double become unexpected hit during on air despite both main casts, Wang Xing Yue & Wu Jin Yan are not traffic actor/actress yet before this so Youku milked this drama to gain more profit by changing the schedule for the airing time so the fans need to pay more to watch the episodes early. I think Youku scared the fans will scold them about the ambiguous ending of this drama so they try to give a more clear ending for this drama.
At first Youku asked Wang Xing Yue to do voice record for the narrative for ending but then Wang Xing Yue discussed with the drama director & producer so they filmed the extra episode for the drama.
Both main casts, Wang Xing Yue & Wu Jin Yan are both under Huanyu Film agency and Yu Zheng, their manager is also the producer of this drama so it easy for them to film the extra episode.
Despite the 12 years old age gap between main casts, they both are comfortable with each other offscreen during filming & give good cooperation when filming kiss scenes.
Yet the director is a conservative person (Wu Jin Yan rightly said that to him during filming extra episode) so he rejected for more kiss scenes.

Imagine when Wu Jin Yan has many scenes with her main actor and she gives her all for her performance yet the main actor is as stiff as wood.
