Oh, I just noticed Wang Xing Yue played as supporting role in drama Amidst In Snowstorm Of Love with Wu Lei and Zhao Jin Mai as main leads!

How could I miss that before ahhh

So Wang Xing Yue will be the sad boy second male lead in there too?
Or will he has his own romance with second female lead?

If he will be sad boy again, by now guy is an expert in playing as the character that "fall in love with women he shouldn't to and then get heartbroken" in his dramas LOL

I hope next time he will get upgrade as Zhao Jin Mai main male lead aww

Other than his good performance as an actor, his mature face gives him advantage when he work with older actresses.

Hua Qian in real life separated Zhong Ye Lan from his lover by drugging him so she can marry him and all bad thing she & her family did before they get exiled and she in the coma yet she is the queen.

Zhong Xi Wu was the one who saved her, stood against his mother for her, patiently stayed by her side for years to cure her yet he is still not enough for Hua Qian for some people because some of his behaviour in her dream LOL

Actress Zhou Ye performance as Hua Qian is really good and just like other people, I love firm and badass main female lead but some people forget that before she in coma, her character is not badass but bad haha

Although I'm happy that drama Scent Of Time become popular among local audience but I'm still quite disappointed with the screentime for actor Wang Xing Yue's character development in there.

Yu Zheng, the founder of Wang Xing Yue's current talent agency, Huanyu Film is also the producer of drama Scent Of Time and Wang Xing Yue's next costume drama, The Double.

I hope in drama The Double, at least his character as main male lead will get more screentime and interactions, skinship with his main female lead since from the drama stills, it seems the second male lead have a kiss scene with main female lead (second male lead was main female lead husband in her first life before he betrayed her and after she died, she become another woman in her second life).

Mr Queen is one of my favourite Korean drama even it's a remake so I will surely watch if there any Korean drama producer want to remake drama Scent Of Time specially if it from production of Mr Queen.

But one of main reason Mr Queen become a great drama even it's a remake is other than good screenwriter & director, both Kim Jung Hyun & Shin Hye Sun are talented actor & actress.

For main casts for drama Scent Of Time, actress Zhou Ye was graduated from the undergraduate class of the Beijing Film Academy's Performance Department while actor Wang Xing Yue was graduated from the Performance Department of Central Academy of Drama.

Drama Scent Of Time was filmed from 19 December 2021 to 11 March 2022, meaning at beginning of filming, actor Wang Xing Yue was just 19 years old and 4 years younger than actress Zhou Ye in real life since he was born in 2002 while she was born in 1998.

But actor Wang Xing Yue has mature face and good bearing as an actor although he still young that's why his performance could match the level of actress Zhou Ye's performance in drama Scent Of Time.

What I meant is both drama have casts with good acting skill so even the drama plots are flawed, they are still enjoyable to watch.

I know many audiences only watch Chinese and Korean dramas where main actors & actresses are pleasant to eyes but pretty faces alone with bad acting skill will ruin the drama.

It's not a problem if we only watch drama with actors & actresses because I also like to watch drama with gorgeous actors & actresses but if Korean drama producer want to make a good remake for drama Scent Of Time like Mr Queen, I hope they hired good screenwriter, director & main casts.

Main male lead behaviour in main female lead second life/her dream were based on her own POV/interpretation about main male lead.

In real life, main male lead saved her and take care of her. He regretted that he didn't confessed earlier about his feeling and wait for her until she wakes up.

I don't know why some people dislike main male lead although in reality, he is the one that love and accept the main female lead the way she is. I guess they want her to be in coma forever LOL

About this drama, I like the main couple acting and chemistry although the plot is quite flawed. There's not much interactions & skinship between main couple though (not even a sweet hug or kiss huhu) so if you want to watch sweet romance, this drama is not for you.

The director of this drama mentioned in one the interview that there is no reborn or time travel and people should know right or wrong in real life. That's the core reason why this drama keep Hua Qian alive in her first life even that life is tragic. They also keep dropping hint along the episodes that her second life was not real in this drama.

Btw, why do you want her to die?

Actually, this is the second time Wang Xing Yue become second male lead in drama where Bai Lu is the main female lead.

First was in Bai Lu's drama with Ren Jia Lun, One And Only (2021) but Wang Xing Yue's character in One And Only was as the evil second male lead that become one of obstacle between main couple. So, many audience get pissed off with his character in there LOL

Since Bai Lu and Wang Xing Yue are under the same talent agency, Huanyu Film, I hope it easier for them to have chance to be in a Chinese costume drama as the main couple.

Although he is young, his mature face gives him advantage so it easier for him to match visually with many Chinese actresses older than him. His female leads in his dramas so far are his jie jie (meaning "older sister" in Chinese just like "noona" in Korean). Wang Xing Yue was born in 2002, Bai Lu was born in 1994, Zhou Ye that played as Hua Qian was born in 1998.

Wu Jin Yan who is his main female lead in one of his upcoming drama, The Double was born in 1990 so she is 12 years older than him in real life yet they still look good together in some leaked video of behind the scene of this drama. Well the actress also has quite youthful face.

Well Wang Xing Yue is one of his artist too but maybe he also want to take opportunity to push his other male artist using Wang Xing Yue?

The thing is Wang Xing Yue is one of student from Central Academy of Drama and his character as Xi Wu is quite dashing so even with limited screentime & little skinship with Hua Qian in the drama, many audience get attracted to him haha

In Wang Xing Yue next drama "The Double", someone corrected me in the comment by mentioning that main female lead husband in first life also played by Yu Zheng artist, Liang Qi Shun.
