I agree 💯 with your review! Explained what I loved about the leads and this underrated drama perfectly. I enjoyed how the relationships between, and motivations of, the women were explored. Yes there is (a lot) of melodrama, but the stellar acting and characters make up for it. If you keep watching, even the evil characters manage to surprise you (and perhaps win you over)..

I’ll ignore that you “dare” tell me what to think. But to be clear the Reply 1988 vibes are from the solid friend relationships between Samson boys and family relationships between SDM family and Grandma and HJP. And all the actors in both dramas did a brilliant job - not just my “favourite”.
