i'll write another comment since this show finally ended.

tbh, it really started strong. the first few episodes were entertaining that i didn't skip but as it progresses, it started to feel like they were just dragging it that i ended up skipping a lot of dialogues and still was able to follow the story. i also hate how they quickly resolved what seemed to be the biggest problem throughout the show and how Nuea just stopped being Kirin when it seemed very important on early episodes. as soon as Kuea and Lian were together, Kirin just magically vanished and then made his appearance on the latter episodes just because xD it wasn't that bad but it was also not that good, maybe something in between? nonetheless, i would still find myself recommending this since i can see how someone might enjoy it (and it ain't me, sadly).

what i really loved about this series is the casting, i love them off-cam <3 also the OSTs were a banger, you guys should really check out Nunew's singing, he's very good!!!

it's a typical university BL drama tbh. i do recommend you to try it if you're up for a light, fluffy, and slightly angsty drama. i think it's enjoyable though it gets frustrating at some point. for a very cliche plot, it's doing a good job.

ep. 6 frustrates me so much because things could've been easily resolved in this episode but they still dragged it. plus phoon suddenly kissing nuea??? phoon, you ain't it. anw, i feel like this episode wasn't that much necessary to the plot since barely anything progressed...

ep. 7 preview excites me since it's brighter than the past few episodes, i do hope they have communicated by then. but why are the episodes getting shorter? that's stressing me more than how kluennuea's relationship progresses.

they gave me WinTeam (from UWMA) vibes, they just suddenly happened with no proper build-up. the thing with WinTeam is that they have the novel to explain the small interactions they had throughout the series but since Nuer and Syn are just inserts for this series, we don't have that sort of explanation which is disappointing. their characters are not that bad if only given decent amount of screen time, build-up, and proper interactions.

what i didn't like about UWMA is how dragging some of the dialogues were. i skipped a lot during deanpharm and korntouch's scene but i was still able to understand all the conflicts and what was currently happening. i also hated the placement of products here, i found it annoying since they were just shoving it on our faces. other than that, the acting and cinematography was fine. what really hooked me to this series was winteam, they deserve more!

11 episodes in and i can really say i have a love/hate relationship with the series. i did like lian and nuea but eventually, i found them boring, same goes to yi and diao. nuersyn is what kept me watching but what's with cutie pie and public kissing? i wanted nuersyn's first kiss to be more romantic and private, is that too much to ask omg.
