Thinking about the drama again today (as always) and one of the things I love about episode 8 are all the little…
It's delightful that Ji Yun and Eun Ho listen to each other and respect that they each have a part of their life that is painful to talk about and are willing to give that space until the person is ready to talk about it. We can clearly see the love that they have for each other deepening as the episodes progress, especially after Ep 8 wrapped up with Eun Ho stepping in to protect Ji Yun from the humiliation and insults that Jeong Hoon's father heaped on her at that ridiculous party to stroke his ego. That was pretty hot. Followed by the soft reassuring smile he gave her before he whisked her away.
I'm willing the writer to wrap up this childhood trauma trope quickly before Ep 10 ends and subvert what we have been conditioned to see each time this trope comes up. I hope Ji Yun asks Eun Ho to be by her side, instead of pushing him away, and both talk about their childhoods after the initial shock wears off when he tells her what happened. Eun Ho has always been very steadfast and sincere in caring for and supporting Ji Yun so she doesn’t have to bear her burdens alone, and this should be seared in her memory. We know both of them need to heal and put the past behind them - the one feeling hurt and resentment as well as the one who will soon feel guilt-ridden - and they're only going to be able to find solace and comfort through each other.
I think it will bring them closer. Seems like she has some resentment towards her father. Knowing what really…
I realise I missed the part in Ep 8 just after Ji Yun and Eun Ho met the lawyer at her office. Eun Ho tells Ji Yun that there are two important people who shaped his life - one is Byeol and another person. Then they show that Eun Ho's given a contact to help him in his search for someone related to the fire incident. We all know where this will go from the teaser for Ep 9 but the one thing I'm take heart from is that Eun Ho tells Ji Yun about his discovery.
I hate to be that person 🧍🏽♀️, but I've watched the balcony scene at least ten times now. I can't…
The atmosphere felt so electric. I love how they have been interspersing the episodes with such charged moments between Ji Yun and Eun Ho that take our breath away or make us smile with the characters and feel the pull that they have on each other. Han Ji Min and Lee Jun Hyuk have made it so believable that Ji Yun and Eun Ho have filled each others hearts and quite unconditionally accept each other for who they are.
I hope the writer doesn't dwell too much on the childhood trauma to reinforce the point that they were meant to be. We get it. Just keep giving us those romantic sparks!
I thought he's a good man from the way he treats her in the past episodes, but he's totally the opposite. I just…
I'm not keen on this subplot too but went back to watch it since Ep 8 seemed to be setting the stage for a showdown in the last few episodes especially after Ji Yun refused to give him face at his party and left early. I'm guessing this is the bigger plot point and he's going to strike where it hurts real soon.
Same sentiments about Eun Ho. I loved how he stood up for Ji Yun in front of everyone and I think this moved her deeply. Her reaction suggests that no one has ever done that for her in all the time she's been CEO of Peoplez which is a continuation of the theme when Eun Ho came for her at Career Way and also Eun Ho's fulfilment of his promise to be there for her if she stumbles.
If Jeong Hoon was oblivious to his father's malice, this should shake him up.
My theory on what’s gonna happen is that CEO Kang is gonna find some way out of the shareholders contract, give…
I'm not sure Ji Yun can find another shareholder or raise enough money to buy Jeong Hoon's father out. He's owns almost half of the company. Even if Jeong Hoon cuts off ties with his dad, he is unlikely to have anything to his name to be able to help Ji Yun financially.
Maybe Ji Yun will have to start all over again and perhaps Eun Ho will be her business partner if that happens.
Yes they did!!! Previous episode she told him not to get out of the car and accompany her to her flat or she would…
Their relationship keeps heating up each week and now the sparks have combusted to create a bonfire. They leave us hanging for a whole week!
I thought Ji Yun's heart almost burst when Eun Ho stepped in at the party to extract her from that venomous lot. And he was so suave and respectful about it, only intervening after she stood her ground and made it clear that she had enough of them. I don't think anyone has ever done that for Ji Yun before Eun Ho came into her life.
It's a moving answer to the turmoil that must have threatened to overwhelm Ji Yun and a nice throwback to Eun Ho's response in Ep 7 after Ji Yun talked about her insecurities - "I'm getting more scared that everything will fall apart if I trip or fall" ---> "You can get back up again. I'll catch you if you fall."
I think it will bring them closer. Seems like she has some resentment towards her father. Knowing what really…
Does anyone know if Eun Ho finds out about their connection because of Ji Yun's spiteful mentor or because he went to her house and saw a photo of her father?
On the bright side it looks like at the very least Eun Ho will not ghost her with his guilt.🤞Hopefully they'll…
Yeah! Hope they'll wrap up this plot point up by next weekend and not put us all through the wringer for the remaining four episodes. I really loved Ji Yun and Eun Ho's happy moments in Ep 8 and look forward to them spending some cosy family time with Byeol!
On the bright side it looks like at the very least Eun Ho will not ghost her with his guilt.🤞Hopefully they'll…
I wish the story goes this way too. I'd like to think that Ji Yun will eventually see past the hurt and remember that Eun Ho also suffered and grew up alone as a result of the fire.
The positive is that this discovery will deepen their relationship as they comfort each other and heal from the scars of the past. They really need to keep communicating honestly with each other and stay together because the despicable villains are still out there waiting to take Ji Yun and Peoplez down.
I thought he's a good man from the way he treats her in the past episodes, but he's totally the opposite. I just…
I think it turned hostile in Ep 7 once Ji Yun rejected Jeong Hoon's father's order to recommend some guy from a financial institution that he wanted to as a candidate for a government investment committee. She sidestepped his overtures to marry Jeong Hoon a few episodes earlier. Now she has openly declared that she won't do something that compromises her values. So Ji Yun is of no value to him and that despicable mentor of hers wants the father to "give Peoplez to her". In his mind, he's probably thinking how dare Ji Yun, who should be beholden to a powerful wealthy man like him, go against him.
I'm still not clear what is Ji Yun's relationship with Jeong Hoon's family but my guess that maybe his father had a foundation that sponsored outstanding students and she was one of them which might explain how she has known Jeong Hoon for years?
Jeong Hoon never stood a chance to be with Ji Yun even without Eun Ho in the picture. It riled me to see him at the dinner party, looking so hapless and distressed the whole time while his father and cronies preyed on Ji Yun.
You've summed up what makes this drama work so well. Sometimes, a romance drama just needs normal, mundane activities…
From the way Eun Ho gazes and reacts to Ji Yun, I think he is quite sure of his feelings for her. We got his looks of admiration after he realised that she isn't some cold, calculating headhunter when matching the sous chef with a research role, then she stole his heart with her smiles and laughter while they shared an umbrella in the rain and again when he asked her if she played basketball, his happiness to cook a meal for her and see her eat it heartily.... Eun Ho seems to be holding back and keeping a respectful distance because Ji Yun drew the line after their almost kiss but he cannot resist teasing her and they have these moments of playful flirty banter. Had she not told him to forget what happened, he may have responded differently? So her confession is definitely going to change the balance and give him the encouragement he needs to tell her how he truly feels and woo her finally.
It is not only a heartwarming and heart fluttering to see them slowly falling in love as they spend time together. But also to know that these two souls who both grew up alone with no family have found their way to each other. Though bound by a possibly tragic shared past connection, maybe they can build a relationship strong enough to overcome the dreaded revelation without the cliched break up and reunion!
Drama logic. FL Father died in a fire & ML was in in a fire when he was young. The Event & Date match. And because…
It's such lazy writing to keep relying on this formula. I thought the production was promoting Love Scout as a healing romance to warm the hearts this winter! I hope they will go about it differently and surprise us just like Eunho's Pinkfong umbrella.

Yeah there’s been too much of the side shows when all that really counts are Min Hoo and Ye Sool. Maybe the second couple was meant to be a contrast to the leads but I find myself wincing when I see them most of the time. Pil Yo should have taken the cue early on and left gracefully. Can’t say much about Ji Young except to wish (not so pleasant thoughts) that if there’s anyone that needs to be abducted, let her be the one!

Stills from Episode 10 are out: http://www.slist.kr/news/articleViewAmp.html?idxno=363246 Looks like it’s leading up to Min Hoo telling Ye Sool about his special senses. Will the cliffhanger be his revelation to her how far back their connection goes? The childhood story seems to be under wraps.
Yeeee! I'm waiting for this!!!The previev for 10 episode:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKwoQxCwSr0How am i going…
I love it that we're going to get much more time with Min Hoo and Ye Sool in this pair of episodes and so much bliss and heart on sleeves! Which also makes me wonder whether there's going to be something more thrown their way. I was prepared to settle for teeny progress like Ye Sool shooting finger hearts to Min Hoo from where she's seated in office when he looks out of his room window.
While some story development was necessary from the last two episodes, it clearly suffered with too little of our main leads and too much of Pil Yo and Ji Young. I wish all that was dropped and the angst compressed into one episode instead. Show us more of Min Hoo and Ye Sool's lives and how they've felt and dealt with their "super powers" when growing up. Especially since this is just a 12 episode drama!
Thank you!..i kept hoping for an ep 8 preview and now im sad..
I hope so too! What happened with Pil Yo is a part of her past and there's unfortunately nothing much that can be done to mend the hurt. Can Ye Sool focus on her future, have faith and follow her heart for once this time. Her tendency to have this fatalistic attitude spills over into her professional life as well. It ties back to what Min Hoo told her in Episodes 1 and 2 about the way she approaches work and the advice he gave her.
I guess Min Hoo is going to have to be the one who opens up to Ye Sool first and shows his vulnerabilities if there's going to be any hope of a happy ever after for them.

Oh no! Not gonna watch it and agonise for days. Is it a trust or confidence issue?
Perhaps the theme for this pair of episodes is going to be about taking charge of your own future. Ye Sool’s decision to let her visions determine the future of her relationships is probably not a strong way to start a relationship with Min Hoo especially if he loves her but she hasn’t figured things out and likes the idea of them being happy in the future she saw.
Someone wrote in a comment: "I can't believe Disney+ gave us spoiler at the end "And there is spoiler, we can…
It sounds like he's saying "That's what I wanted to hear. Be my girlfriend!" Swoon..... It's about time. Let's get on with it, stop teasing us. There are just 6 episodes to go.
It's my first time watching one of the BTS. Yoon Kye Sang and Seo Ji Hye have amazing chemistry offscreen too.

This man is a real keeper.
