Aha....I will join your squad! I either dropped or saw the rest on the list but wasn't impressed, so didn't make…
I definitely agree with you, I don't think the lead actress in Chicago Typewriter came across pathetic at all. She was actually quite talented and brilliant. And Yoo Ah In's haircut definitely was different but it grew on me (lol). He's hella cute in any hair length! XD Plus his character wasn't a jerk for no reason; between having experienced betrayal and a lot of crazy stalkers, anyone would be closed off and paranoid about other people's motives.

I will fight you over Chicago Typewriter. But I understand the rest of them. I liked While You Were Sleeping but it didn't amaze me. I loved Hwarang but I can't argue much with the points against it Temperature of Love failed to get my attention, and the only reason I hung in with Suspicious Partner is because Ji Chang Wook is always a treat regardless of what the drama is. And also for Korean Harry Potter, who was ridiculously adorable.

Prof Hong Ji Hong in Doctors is my favorite example. He definitely knew who he wanted and went for her, but he was never a creep about it. LOVED Kim Rae Won in that!

Now me, I don't particularly mind the bad-boy-turns-into-squishmuffin theme, I just think it's taken too far when they don't allow the girl any agency in it. If she just has to suffer some creeper stalking her until she gives up, that's not cute. Like in Heirs... Kim Tan SAID all the right things that made him sound romantic af but his actions were kind of that of a serial killer. I like an alpha male that will fight for his woman, but not a creep that will fight a woman into liking him.
