Happy New Year Cheer and I wish you great holidays!^^
Leaving that aside, I think that there won't be any melodramas any time soon. At least no interesting ones. There are just too many romantic comedies *sigh*
Woman and Tonbi are absolutely my top favorites of the year. I also liked Glass no Ine while it lasted but they haven't finished subbing it.
But after all, I only watch Slice of life and melodramas so I could be considered weird.

Yes, I've seen 3 Iron; it was such a compelling movie; I also agree that the ending fitted so well.
I will let you know the titles once I remember them. Believe it or not, I didn't add half the movies I saw because I can't seem to recall their titles.

Exactly Cheer; we can be so different around here. I am waiting for you to pick a melo soon :p
I also started a Japanese drama "Tonbi" and I am really loving it so far.
Btw, I love your new avi ^^
I am afraid I haven't seen any of these dramas; I must be weird :D

I am really enjoying it and you know me too well, it's really my thing!
I am not fan of historical dramas in general so no saeuguks or taiga dramas for me but since you're history lover then you should watch them.

The variety of taste is a bliss. As for me, I will never watch a long Japanese drama :D
I will let you know as soon as I start it, I am just so into Thorn Flower at the moment.

I saw few of them but they're usually in long makjangs. The recent Garasu no Ie can be considered an example. I have to search my memory to remember them. I will let you know if when I do.
I think cheating is over-used as a theme whether in Asia or outside it. However, as long as I get a meaningful storyline beside cheating then I am perfectly fine with it.
I also noticed that, somtimes it pleases me and sometimes it doesn't. I like melodramas so I am not exactly fond of happily ever after endings but I also don't want a tragic ending for the sake of crying. I like it tragic and sad with a meaning. I know I am weird xD

Yes, I feel very bad already :(
No, not yet; I have a Korean Makjang to finish then I will start it or maybe I will watch it soon before that.

I am glad you liked it as well and I must agree that I am also tired of the whole cheating concept especially cheating wives, I hate that from the bottom of my heart.
Yes, well it does get melodramatic but in the middle it's more like a family drama.
I know that many people don't take Korean makjangs but I happen to like them and enjoy them, I skip some of the dragging of course :D

I need luck but don't worry, you know that I like those types of drama so I am enjoying it ^^
A historical drama? You watch long saeguks as well?
Oh that's much better :D

Taiwanese can be quite draggy but I saw some of their few sentimental dramas and movies and I liked them.
Secret Garden isn't exactly a rom-com; there's a lot of melodrama going on in there.
Lovers in Paris is one of the most sentimental dramas that KES wrote. It reminded me of Lovers a bit and I liked it but I can understand if you want to pass it because of the ending.
I decided to dramathon a long makjang "Thorn Flower", I had it on my radar for a long time and I thought that I should start it since I have nothing to watch. I also finished "Sleepless Night", it was a great movie for my taste.
I saw Thank You and I liked it, it's more like a family drama with melodrama in it. The acting and developments were good. Enjoy the watch :)

I saw the 7th episode raw but I just can't watch it like this. I will put it on hold for now and when they finish subbing it, I will pick it up.
It seems like an intersting Slice of life. I liked Woman and Mother is one of my favorite dramas so I will make sure to watch Tonbi as soon as possible. Thanks Aphrodity^^

I started a long makjang, I don't know if it will be to my liking but so far, it's up to my taste.
So you're considering them just like they were romantic comedies? As if they're on the same level or something like that?

Yes, I refuse to watch romantic comedies because they're so cheesy and frustrate me most of the time, I rather watch some serious deep romance instead.
I am also disappointed in KES for being Heirs' writer; I think it's a mistake in her career.
I see why you hate HJW but don't worry, her acting isn't irritating in Secret Garden; there's also body switching so you get to see her act like Hyun Bin. That was fun :D

I had my guesses that you would do that and you did it, there's no melodrama for me so I feel lonely :(
Really? You will really stop watching melodramas? Come on Cheer, we already agreed that you won't do that, don't go back on your word!

I am starting to loose my patience; I think I will put it on hold or drop it if it doesn't get subbed soon.
Is that so? I don't have much to watch recently so I think I will check it out although I am a bit skeptical about the action part. Any other recommendation from Japan? I am running out of romance themed dramas lately.

Why do you have to tease me that way? :p Yes, it did feel dark especially yesterday and today; I feel super empty without my weekly drug. I rated it a 9. What was your overall impression about it?
oh Noooo! Don't say that, come on! I am okay with an anti-romcom club but not anti-melodramas too!

I saw some of them but can you recommend me more? I feel like I would like them.
I know right? I feel sad when a subbing team doesn't complete its work :(
