My name is Kaśka, and I'm a 38-year-old girl from Poland. I live in a small countryside village with my husband, our daughter (4yo), and three cats <3
I'm very interested in Asian culture, especially Korean and Japanese.
My drama addiction started in June 2014 when my dear friend Rillas (Lorell) introduced me to some websites with Asian dramas—I had no idea they were so popular!
I watch just about everything and enjoy it all. I always try to watch every drama or movie from beginning to end because I don’t feel complete otherwise. I don’t like dropping dramas—if I don’t finish one, it lingers in my mind, and I keep wondering what would have happened next.

How Did I Fall in Love with Asia?
When I was very young—around 5 or 6 years old—I started watching Jackie Chan movies. He quickly became my idol.
As I grew up, I remember watching Japanese anime on television, such as Dash Kappei (Gigi la Trottola), Yatterman, and Toushou Daimos. When I was 7, I discovered Dragon Ball, Slayers, and Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon was my first true anime love and the first manga I ever bought. That series sparked my deep interest in anime, manga, and Asian culture.
More recently, I’ve started watching Asian films and dramas from China, South Korea, and Japan. While I don’t yet understand the languages, I appreciate the dramatic storytelling and unique cultural elements. I first discovered Korean dramas through the Korean channel Arirang, which I found on my cable television.
Now, I spend much of my free time watching Asian dramas and anime, reading books and manga, and playing games—especially MMORPGs or RPGs. I also love J-rock and K-pop, but my favorite non-Asian music genre is power metal (bands like Helloween, Edguy, and Blind Guardian).
I’ve also started learning Korean, though… I’m still at the Hangul stage.
Finally, one of my biggest dreams is to visit South Korea and Japan. South Korea fascinates me—both its history and modern culture—so much that I hope to travel there someday. From everything I’ve heard and seen in photos, the culture and landscapes are absolutely beautiful.
