Apparently some people do not like slow burns and that’s so wild. You’re telling me you just wanna skip all…
I've watched plenty of slow burn romances full of yearning, Cdrama's do it super well and make you wait 30+ episodes. But this didn't have yearning. It was just kinda the ML being a bit of a twat for most the show and then them pretending that was building the romance. I'd suggest people don't watch it as a romance but more of a mental health/crime mix.
The fans of this series are mostly in their 30s and up because they constantly talk about the trend of old Korean…
I enjoyed it, but it was missing something. Some sort of spark that draws you in. Even the romance didn't have that, it was very ... chill? It was just missing something.
I got the same injury as the ML - to my left shoulder, also while in the pool. How quick they make/show his recovery is wild, I'm a year post-op and still half crippled. Its very slow and very painful. Take care of your shoulders people because once they are busted like that, its life altering.
Man, I don't get how MuMu wasn't beyond pissed off at all the stuff they pulled. Everyone lying to her about everything, including the dog.
Its just bullshit. She should of been so mad and heartbroken but nope. They all suck for that.
All the women and girls out there, never let a man pull this crap on you, no matter how hot he is or how much you love him. Shout out to all the other comments on viki for also calling out his BS.
I am a little confused. Was their dating period in Thailand only for 1 week before the 6 yrs separation?
The time she was in Thailand was at least 3 months. Because thats how long her studying course ran for and she completed that. Give or take some time before and after that. So I'd say about 4 months. I don't know where people are getting a week from.
Didn't think this show would have me in tears over Ppoppi's story. Because people really do that to pets that love them. 💔
Speaking of, they should of given as a clear ending for Ppoppi. I assume he ended up with the guy who was his driver, but the last we see of him is him sadly waiting for his human. 🥺
This is a more slow and mature drama. It does have some silly fluffy moments, but it is more so about healing and growth. The cast all played their roles well. It was also nice to see a disabled character portrayed along with their own struggles.
Sometimes it can be a bit confusing but it all gets explained eventually. It isn't a face-paced romcom, but an enjoyable slow watch. Plus the leads are cute together and so is their dog!
Despite the toxic nature of it, I loved the relationship between the Princess of Susha and the Emperor. They were both insane, it was great. Portrayed that craziness really well.

They cut a lot of kisses and intimate parts but there are still some.
The show itself and story still hold up and were enjoyable to watch despite all that.
