Just curious why do you find the story a mess? For me personally it was smooth flowing after initial few episodes
Regardless of what the reason was. They did their best with what was given to them and they created an okay drama with a cute couple. That’s all that matters

Understandable. Like I said, there are a plotlines that were a bit random or not thoroughly explored. This is a common trait with BL dramas since they have so few episodes, so it didn't really ruin the show for me that much. I'll try explaining a few points that stood out to me.
One plotline I thought was a bit weak is Zi Xiang's cousin being upset with Zi Xiang for only being rescued after he told everyone else that he was also in the water. The whole interaction with those guns pointed at their heads made me cringe because it was just so random.
Then, related to that plotline is the situation with Zi Xiang's father. I get that he wants Zi Xiang to take over the business, but after Zi Xiang decides to stay in Taiwan, he shows up once and leaves right away without looking like anything had been resolved or achieved. I was also not buying the whole "I'm doing it for my son because I love him" bit. When Zi Xiang said that, I thought, "Where in all that rambling did you hear that?"
And then my gripe with Shao Peng is that he struggled to pass an interview, but it didn't look like he was trying really hard. During the interview the man said a whole bunch of things but he didn't really try to butt in or disprove the man's claims. Later, when a careworker said that they had deaf patients in that care facility and needed people who could sign to work for them. It made me wonder if he hadn't thought of working with deaf or mute people before My last problem with the show was when Zi Xiang's fiance went to Shao Peng to provoke him, she said, "Thank you for taking care of my fiance." and just left. Like, you went all the way there just for that?
My problems are mostly just me thinking, "That's it?" I wish BL dramas would last as long as HET dramas, but alas. The world isn't yet ready for the power of full-length BL dramas.
while the story was a mess, I really did love what Zi Xiang said to Shao Peng in the hospital. “Your strength doesn’t mean you are not allowed to be weak or rely on others.”
great acting and cinematography but the story is always repeating itself … it’s always a weak disabled single…
have you watched “Tell me that you love me”? In this drama the male lead is deaf but he’s portrayed as someone who simply lives his life to the best of his abilities.
“hidamari ga kikoeru” and “See your love” are also great dramas btw. In the “See your love” one the deaf male lead can fight really well
I was totally enjoying the show right up till episode 19 where the queen went out of the castle with her maid and court lady. They were acting like they were going on a picnic trip instead of trying to bring someone back who was being hunted. Walking out of the gate as the queen letting everyone know you’re going to bring the king back and then walking around giggling like you have never had a hit put on your head before. Like dude, get serious. On top of that I couldn’t give a flying fuck about that cousin and his one sided feelings for the queen, like please. She’s just not into you, move on.
Even with a man inside her they still managed to turn the female lead in a useless side character that had to be saved by all the men around her in the end. Truly a wasted potential in the last two episodes
people are complaining that it wasn’t as dark as some other drama and here I’m just glad it isn’t just fighting and bullying. Seriously what’s fun about watching a bunch of kids beat each other up? You gotta have some comedy or wholesomeness to make it watchable, otherwise it’s just sadistic
I feel like the doctor should have been saved…like you’re literally in a hospita, and it’s just a slash…
Just finished it today. The job trauma cleaners is very unique, something I haven't seen in any dramas before but everything else is just the same old orphan drama. Last remaining parent dies, random relative who no one has ever heard of shows up and cuases chaos in the ordinary life of the main character. But oh no~ the relative is actually a very troubled person with some unresolved trauma.
The first episode, I bawled my eyes out at the two deaths that occurred, but as the episodes progressed, I started skipping more and more, thinking "been there, done that" . The job trauma cleaners is really the only fresh thing about this and everything else has been over done to the point that you can pretty much predict what's coming next.
Why is there a 40 episode limit? I remember some of the older ones being longer.
Many dramas add extra episodes that don’t add much value to the plot and thus lower the value of the whole drama for the viewers. Capping everything at 40 episodes is an attempt to force writers to create worthwhile stories without adding useless scenes and sub plots
they literally acted nice infront of her.., Wanted to squeeze of her insurance money which is more than 3 billion…
I didn’t say she had to run away. There are other ways to take revenge than the way they did which made the story too predictable. That’s all I’ll say about it, if you want to continue talking about it go find someone else

I think you meant to write hypocritical and not hypothetical. As for taking revenge and all the other assumptions you made..I never said anything like that. All I said was that the revenge she plotted turned into a self fulfilling prophecy, her behavior pushed them into a pattern she expected rather going for a less extreme solution.
I’ve seen the exact same drama as you. I know that their behavior wasn’t anywhere near humane, but that doesn’t take away the fact that their plan was a tat bit extreme, and that I personally would rather have seen the characters take a different route. A less…predictable route.
Oh my! I hate this drama so much!! I didn't watch the whole series cause the first episode was so horrible! The…
she’s playin pretentious know it all who is a mess in her private life…of course the acting is gonna seem fake because that’s the way the character acts. Same with the generalization, she’s acting like she knows it all making assumptions about people she barely knows. however, the point of dramas like these is that the characters start out with a specific mind set, experience things and then change for the better. If you are going to say that you hate a 14+ hour drama after just watching 1 hour of it then you are better off sticking to movies
