been reading the novel after watching the drama and long time ago. The age gap is so much clearer and awkward in the novel that I'm not sure what to make of it...
I just dont get why the demons killed the criminals and made it look like a serial killer. Supernatural beings usually do things while hiding away from human eye but when they attack the criminals right after their trial and burn them all with the same mark there's no way humans won't notice that or leave that alone. Also if demons are supposedly so unfeeling and uncaring for human suffering then why are they taking their time to make the criminals feel the same pain as their victims? Shouldn't hell be the punishment of their bad deeds? So why dont they just kill them in their sleep or wait till they die as they were destined to?
The characters do so many things that feel out of character or unnecessary that I genuinely can't even feel satisfaction over the criminals receiving punishment.
Hey, I edited it for you 😌 I didn’t expect that my review was helpful. So I put an effort to write a review!
ah no its just...it was just emojis. So it felt odd that so many people thought it was helpful😅 but its nice to be able to actually read your thoughts on the story like this so thank you😊
A will they won't they story that really wants to make you wonder what will happen but makes it too obvious for you to be surprised that they do end up together in the end.
I was so convinced that they were going to do a bait and switch and reveal at the end that he faked his death but then it didn't happen. It was a nice surprise for sure.
I just saw an edit about this drama and remmebered that he broke up with her to protect her even though he had said he would never do that. Didn't know I was holding a grudge against him for that for all these years, but I'm getting pissed all over again...
For me personally i thought the one big difference between this and village barber is the cast chemistry like…
I haven't watched the shows you mentioned but I also felt that they were a bit awkward at the beginning. I'm not sure but I think that it was because they are all speaking so formally with each other. Also the way the manager talks with the guests, she's not really conversing with them. The guest say something and she goes "ah yes..." It was painful to watch as someone who used to work in restaurants as a waiter
well I dont know if they'll actually film it. Also its not a big revelation for the plot. The only people who will get what I'm talking about have already read the novel or the manhwa...
Yo if I wanted to watch a man suck at communication I'd go through my own dating history. He would have been a perfect male lead for a slice of life drama so why not let them stay together ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
this thread explains it a bit more. Apparently its not a full on ban but more of a "hey, im not saying that I'll kill you if you do this but we'll be really interested in you if you do it" and then many producers were like "oh gee, I'm suddenly really not interested in reincarnation anymore"
also another comment in that thread said that its only for big dynasty stories and minor dynasty stories were still allowed.
